CBS had been filling the Mondays at 9pm timeslot with sitcoms for years and years. Now, they’re trying a new drama — Scorpion. Will this change be a ratings success? Will the show be renewed for a second season? Will it be cancelled? Stay tuned.
Based on real-life events, Scorpion revolves around computer expert Walter O’Brien (Elyes Gabel) and his team of brilliant misfits. They’re this country’s last line of defense against complex, high-tech threats. The series also stars Katharine McPhee, Robert Patrick, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jadyn Wong, and Ari Stidham.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
1/12 update: Scorpion and two other shows have been renewed for a second season by CBS.
Final season averages: 2.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 10.96 million total viewers.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Due to a Nielsen glitch, some of the early ratings of the 2014-15 season were revised a few weeks later.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Scorpion TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
This one of the few shows my husband and I watch. We look forward to watching each episode. Please renew it!!
Please keep Scorpion
Wonderful show stressing intelligence unlike these dumb comedies
Renew!
My daughter and I LOVE this show. It has a great balance of intrigue, humor, and human relations. Great writing and a perfect cast of actors. Bravo – can’t wait for second season. Elyes is wonderful in this role. It must go on!
I love that show, they have a great group of actors. My heart will be broken if they cancel Scorpion.
My husband & I love this show. Pleae on’t cancel. always keeps us on the edge of our seats.
Love love love this show! Great season finale! Can’t wait for next season!!
Renewing this show will make us happy! This year has been rough finding shows all of our family can enjoy together. Scorpion is wholesome enough for our youngest (7) and exciting enough for our oldest (13), who has ADHD. So many shows we see advertised look okay and then we put them on and suddenly have to turn the channel for inappropriate language and sexual content (many of the sitcoms). I think the struggles with Walter and his “feelings” for Paige are especially helpful with my 13 year old as he too struggles socially. The kids enjoy the fast-paced action… Read more »
NO NO do not cancel “Scorpion”
Nice, wholesome show. Very refreshing. Ilookforwardto watchgiteeryweek. Please leave it on.
I love this show! My 2 Asperger (autistic ) children believe they can use their gifts and make good things happen. it is because of this show
My husband and I both love this show! The characters are great and really make it believable. I hope it makes it to a 2nd, 3rd and 4th season. This story makes you root for the underdog, the ones who don’t fit into what society considers normal or sociable.
please keep Scorpion on it is a good show
I also am into the computer scene and work as well as work in it (no pun intended)
the numbers show it here.
Starts off high and slowing is fading.
Put more of there abilities to work and less of the personal stuff (IMMHO).
We all know that good hackers and true geeks do not have a personal life, no one ver gets the girls.
Lets see if you cabn get the numbers back up in season2
Good luck.
Love, love, love Scorpion. So happy it is being renewed. Never miss a show. Love all the actors in it
