Patrick Warburton is Lemony Snicket. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor has been cast as the author in Netflix’s upcoming series adaptation of A Series of Unfortunate Events.
The show is based on the popular children’s book series written by Snicket (real name: Daniel Handler).
A Series of Unfortunate Events follows the lives of three children—Violet, Klaus, and Sunny—as they are sent to live with their eccentric relative, Count Olaf, after their parents die. Warburton joins Neil Patrick Harris, who will play Olaf in the series.
Earlier, we reported that K. Todd Freeman has also been cast in the show. He will play the children’s bumbling banker, Mr. Poe.
