Hallmark Channel has picked up Martha Williamson‘s backdoor pilot/movie Signed, Sealed, Delivered as a series. The show’s first season will have 10 episodes and are expected to air mid-2014.
Williamson is the former executive producer of Touched by an Angel and this marks her return to series television. Starring Eric Mabius, the two-hour movie/pilot will air this Saturday, October 12th on Hallmark. Daphne Zuniga, Kristin Booth, Crystal Lowe and Geoff Gustafson also star.
Signed, Sealed, Delivered is a dramedy that follows a group of mail detectives in the Dead Letter Office. They deliver every last lost piece of correspondence to its rightful owner — typically just when the recipient needs it most.
What do you think? Do you plan on checking out the movie and/or series? Does this sound like your kind of show?
I love this show and I hope everyone sees it!!!!!
I can’t wait for this series to come out on DVD so I can purchase it for my parents. I enjoy it so much and it’s just the kind of tv that they love. Sadly they don’t have cable and I rely on purchasing dvds for them to enjoy.
My husband and I love this show and can’t wait to watch it every Sat./Sunday. We love Valerie Bertinelli as the new addition to the show. All of the characters work so well together with all of their little quirks. Please keep this refreshing and delightful show going. I actually work for the USPS in Nevada and find this program very amusing.
Will hallmark make a package deal with all of the 10 shows and sell it? My Sister does not get Hallmark channel and I would love to get a set of the shows for her.
I love this show. It is such a refreshing drama from the crime, sex, exploitation & greed that is constantly being shown. It gives me and my family something to look forward to on Sunday evenings. I hope that more than 10 episodes will be shown or that additional episodes will be written.
I have to agree with Beverly C. I have Signed, Sealed, & Delivered airing times on my calendar so I don’t miss an episode. I hope the series continues for many years. Thank you for bring it to us. I wish my TV carrier, Comcast/X-Finity, would allow us to watch past episodes of Halmark shows either online or on Demand. They seem to want to play all the trashy stuff, but not the good stuff. Amazing show. Thanks again.
I love Signed, Sealed Delivered. I’ve watched it from the beginning. The movie in October, 2013 and Episode 1 in April, 2014, and each episode since. I’m hoping the series will be on DVD soon. I like Cedar Cove, although, I think Signed, Sealed Delivered is my favorite.
Just recently episode 4 of signed sealed delivered was on my PVR and the credits for the show did not come through in standard format. During the last dance scene there was a song they played but I cannot get the singer or the name of the song. If anyone has the name of the song and who sang it I would very much appreciate it.
I think the song is “and so it goes ” by Billy Joel.
That was it.
Thank You Very Much
I love this series and I am so glad Martha Williamson is back (miss the dove at the end of the show). I changed cable services just to get Hallmark as u-verse does not carry it and I am so glad I did.
Love the series. Was sobbing the last 10 minutes of tomorrow’s show. GO, VALERIE! What a woman of grace and joy!!
Tonite’s show….sorry…….!
I agree with Sally and Dixie. It is a very uplifting show and is a great relief from all the sex, violence and foul language. I have it set to record just in case I’ m not near the TV when it comes on…Don’t want to miss it!
This is one of the uplifting , really enjoyable shows that you can watch without enduring foul language, sex and violence. We look forward to each episode. Keep the good stuff coming!! Thanks!
one of the best movies I’d seen in awhile. Have been eagerly awaiting the series. am confused by the heading saying it was cancelled? hope Hallmark’s not that stupid. we need more shows like this. that’s why we watch that channel. I also like cedar cove. keep up the good work please!
Yes I watched the pilot was a great Christmas show
I’m very excited to hear Martha Williamson’s has come back with a new TV series. Her work is beautiful, thought provoking anf gives us renewed hope in people. Yes I realize it’s a TV show but she does capture truth with what she produces. and to quote Martha “there is power in the word”. Just the other day I went to her website and watched some of the several minute videos she produces that instill hope and encouragement. But I’m a little bummed out because my ATT cable doesn’t carry hallmark so I will have to for that before this… Read more »
