The Sleepy Hollow TV show was cancelled, yesterday. Now, co-creator Phillip Iscove, has shared his feelings about the show, making sure to thank the cast, crew, and fans for the supernatural series’ four season run. He’s not alone, either. Actor Phillip Mears is also reaching out, in the wake of the news that there will be no Sleepy Hollow, season five.
A historical fantasy drama, Sleepy Hollow stars Tom Mison as Ichabod Crane. The FOX cast also includes: Janina Gavankar, Lyndie Greenwood, Jerry MacKinnon, Rachel Melvin, Oona Yaffe, Jeremy Davies, and John Noble. After star Nicole Beharie departed the series at the end of season three, the possibility of even a fourth season was up in the air, so their gratitude is a lovely grace note.
Co-Creator Phillip Iscove Responds to the Sleepy Hollow Cancellation
In a series of tweets, Iscove, who created Sleepy Hollow, along with Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, and Len Wiseman, wrote:

Mears, who shared the role of Moloch with D.J. Mifflin, and also played the Golem in season one, and later appeared as the Head Berserker, The Kindred, and Mr. Stich in latter seasons, tweeted:

This was one of my favourite shows. I’m moving more and more to alternative TV platforms because the networks are just not giving me much worth watching anymore. I will definitely miss Sleepy Hollow.

I loved Sleepy Hollow and feel they always cancel the best shows! It would be awesome if another network would puck it up, or maybe Hulu, or Netflix!

I think they should have at least given the new cast another season to really find their footing. Sometimes, it takes a little longer to do that. I feel like they were just about there. I’m very sad about this.
Bad decision. SH was the best show created in my opinion. I saw every episode of all four seasons. I loved every minute.
Fox made a really bad decision. I looked forward to this show every week with it’s quirky take on history and really wanted the show to continue to see where it would go next. Please reconsider. Now I will have to watch another station besides Fox.
I thought season four was almost as good as the first season. Was looking forward to where the new cast would take the show. Sad that we won’t get to find out.
This show brought History and fun into our homes! Ichabod was an absolute delight each week as were the other cast members. It’s a shame they can’t continue the show but I watched every single show and looked forward to it each week. Please reconsider…..❤️❤️

It should have never been cancelled. The addition of the new cast members made it that mor exciting. We looked forward to Sleepy Hollow every week. It’s just sad Fox always cancels the good ones to make room for crappy reality shows…
I loved season 4 and the new cast. And I love Ichabod and am really bummed we won’t see him in another season. What I don’t get is they didn’t cancel after an awful Season 3, but they cancel it after a great season 4. Extremely disappointing…
I’m truly upset about the cancellation of Sleepy Hallow!! I and fam absolutely love this show!! Was upset about Abby Mills being removed from show, but still loved it!! We did not have cable for a very long time so only saw 1st season, but we have bought season 2, 3 , & 4 and watched them all in the last week… I just finished season four and went to check on when season five would hit tv to find out this news… Very upset to hear about this, wish Fox would change their minds, I feel they would realize… Read more »
I’ve loved Sleepy Hollow from the beginning and I’m incredibly disappointed that it’s being cancelled. Season 4 was great! I was SO looking forward to where they’d be heading with the show. I would love to see it continue on Netflix or somewhere…anywhere! I’ll miss all the great characters but especially Ichabod. Tom Mison is a joy to watch. He’s such a doll. Please make all the fans happy and SAVE Sleepy Hollow!
As I am in the UK I am still watching the final series and I am really sorry there will not be a 5th.
