While not cancelled, Steve Harvey’s daytime talkshow, Steve Harvey is ending after the current fifth season wraps up in May. Deadline reports the comedian’s contract with the show’s producer, EndemolShine North America, ends in 2017.
Harvey is developing a new daytime show with IMG. NBCUniversal Domestic Television, which handles the current show, will also distribute the new show.

While the Steve Harvey show shoots in Chicago, the new program will be produced in Los Angeles. The news outlet expects it to be more “celebrity-driven.”

Steve I can’t stand your new show am definitely not feeling you behind the desk and these celebrities guess …and these corny videos like why SMH did you go from ask Steve to everyday people to this mess …go back to the old show.
I googled “Steve Harvey Show” change because I couldn’t figure out why he was behind a desk in the Daytime and he seemed a little awkward. To my surprise I’m not the only one who noticed it. Steve, you have to realize your daytime audience doesn’t want night time Johnny Carson, Jay Leno type shows. The real life stuff is what made you so successful, especially the dating or family segments. You can have celebrities but it has to be fun, laughter etc. Seems like the scripting isn’t you.
Can this new show be any more boring? Steve Harvey seems to be suffering the same ‘illness’ as many popular daytime hosts in the past, ‘I can do no wrong’ and ‘I am soooo interesting’! Not anymore!!
I am watching the new “Steve ” Harvey show and I don’t like it. Where is the “Ask Steve ” portion of the show. That was fun because he was really inter acting with the audience. His Chicago show was fun. Now with the desk it looks like every other show. And he talks too much. I would come home from work everyday just to see his show. Now I am pausing his show. Kinda boring.
OMG Why did you leave Chicago? I live in Washington DC recorded the show daily. Watched new format for one week very dissatifying.I miss the cozy,comfort you had with your Chicago audience show was more intimate and personal. The new show which started daytime and September is awful it doesn’t even touch his previous though it’s boring segments are awful. I don’t know is writing his material but it’s nothing like the other show before September need to switch back to some of the original stuff please.m
Steve…I have watched you for years. Starting with “Me and the Boys” I’ve seen two of your new shows and all I can say is that I MISS THE OLD STEVE HARVEY SHOW. I don’t even watch late night unless there is someone I would like to see. Your show now, is not interesting at all, it’s not about your fans, and you don’t look right behind that desk. I guess I will now be able to catch up on the last season that I recorded. Please Steve…go back to Chicago or bring back the old format.
I will miss the Steve Harvey Show…He had a special show….and now it’s just a LA talk show with celebrities…I loved it when he matched people and shared his expertise on dating…New show sucks! I would rush home to watch the old show….So disappointed with new show…Bummed!

No, no, no! I do not like the new format of the “Steve” show! We have enough shows with celebrity interviews. The show seems to be too scripted and Steve is just not himself. His natural humor works best for him and is much more funny and entertaining.
I checked my local listing and I can not find it anywhere in my area.
Oh my! I’ll leave the street light on, PLEASE, PLEASE come back to your audiences, and modify the new show to be based off the original Steve Harvey episodes. Don’t let others perception change your course. Totally understand your dreams, and providing for your family. But where’s STEVE?
Really don’t like the new format. Seems forced. Prefer his more casual approach.
I am very disappointed. I love the Steve Harvey Show. Totally love the format. I’m not as excited about this. I wil watch though because he is hilarious.
