In an answer to prayer, The Story of God with Morgan Freeman TV show has been renewed for a second season on the National Geographic Channel. The first season debuted in April of this year. Freeman, Lori McCreary, and James Younger executive produce for Revelations Entertainment. Michael J. Miller executive produces for National Geographic Channel.

The renewal has not yet been posted to Nat Geo’s press site, but Deadline reports season two, “…will explore topics including ‘Is There a Chosen One?’, ‘Proof of God’, and ‘Heaven and Hell’.”

According to the report the second season of the The Story of God with Morgan Freeman , “…will air globally in early 2017 on National Geographic Channels in 171 countries in 45 languages, and in Spanish on Nat Geo Mundo.”
