After three seasons, ABC is moving on. The network has cancelled Suburagatory.
Suburgatory continues the story of single dad George Altman (Jeremy Sisto) and his teenage daughter (Jane Levy) after they move from the city an overly wholesome community in the suburbs. This season, the rest of the cast includes Cheryl Hines, Allie Grant, Ana Gasteyer, Chris Parnell, and Carly Chaikin.
The show premiered in September 2011 to a very strong 3.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 9.8 million viewers. The numbers dwindled downward over the course of the season but the network renewed it for season two anyway.
Season two started off well but once again, the ratings dwindled downward. This time, ABC gave Suburgatory a limited 13 episode renewal.
In season three, the ratings started pretty low and stayed there. The current season has averaged a 1.6 demo rating with 5.44 million viewers. It’s down 27% in the demo when compared to season two’s average.
The network has now decided to call it quits after 57 episodes. The season (now series) finale of Suburgatory will air next Wednesday, May 14th.

I want a season 4!!!!! I never heard this show before then i watched it and fell in love with it. We might not watch it aired then and there. I watch it online and i find this show amazing. Yes, those questions about Tess and Ryan, George and Dallas! Im so waiting for a season 4, i hope you guys think about putting that show back on with the same people.
There should really be a season 4 of Suburgatory. I want to know if Ryan dumps June and finally ends up with Tessa the obvious love of his life. Also is George going to fight for Dallas or leave her alone. These questions have to be answered, you can not just leave such a cliff hanger. Such a funny show. I was a shame it was cancelled. I would like to see it return before all the kids are way too old to carry a new season
I really do not like the fact they ended the show that way like at least first it so we know what happened to Tessa and Ryan. I cried when they canceled the show because I loved it soooo much even to this day I still watch it and it really upsetting. I want them o bring it back.
I hate that suburgatory was canceled it was a great show, I absolutely love it and still do watch it till today I can’t get enough. They definitely need to bring back more seasons, we all need to know what happened between Tessa and Ryan, and what’s going on with George an Dallas also the rest of the cast of course. Even if they bring it back on another channel I don’t care I just want it back!
