TV show description:
This drama follows three couples at crossroads in their relationships and the therapist that helps them work through their issues.
Jamie (Michelle Borth) and Hugo (Luke Kirby) are in their twenties and are learning to navigate the waters of fidelity and commitment. At their engagement party, Jamie overhears Hugo say that cheating is part of being married. She’s devastated that she’s about to make a commitment to someone who thinks that way.
Thirtysomethings Carolyn (Sonya Walger) and Palek (Adam Scott) have already made a commitment to one another but their fertility problems have soured their connection. After a year of trying in vain, Carolyn makes an appointment with a fertility specialist. After she passes all of the tests, Carolyn begins to think their issues may stem from Palek’s side.
Katie (Ally Walker) and Dave (Tim DeKay) are in their forties, have two children, and are happy with their relationship. Unfortunately, they can’t figure out why they haven’t been intimate with one another in over a year. Dave refuses to go to counseling out of the fear of being a couple “with problems,” but eventually he caves in for the sake of his marriage.
The couples’ therapist, Dr. May Foster (Jane Alexander), helps each pair work toward a better relationship, whether it’s individually or together. At the same time, Dr. Foster does her best to keep her own marriage with husband Arthur (David Selby) on a path to happiness.
well that’s ****** I was really looking forward to seeing the second season of tell me you love me I really hate when they do that they put the show on air for the first season but then they cancel the show after the first season is over
I suspect the cast was exhausted from all the gratuitous sex scenes and boring dialogue.
