Get ready for another addition to The Blacklist! The NBC TV show drama has been renewed for a fifth season. James Spader and Megan Boone star in the drama. Although this season the series was joined by a spin-off, The Blacklist Redemption, is it not expected to return.
Each week on the NBC series, viewers watch the characters played by Spader and Boone track down bad guys featured on Red’s blacklist.
Season four of the drama started off with a large drop in the ratings. That drop has only continued. Currently, the series is rated with a 1.03 demo rating and 5.402 million viewers. Still, Deadline has confirmed the season five renewal.

So glad Blacklist has been renewed. We would watch anything w/ James Spader but this show is taylor-made to showcase his brilliance.

One of the best shows on TV is the black list the twists and turns of the show keeps me on the edge of my seat. It would be a shame to take it off when the people who do follow it for the past 4 years drop like a big hand grenade in a bucket of nails. Keep it going. Is a doggone good show.

Love, love love this show….watched all seasons…James Spader is EXCELLENT, as was the original cast. Did not care for the spin off either Pat. We thought it would be on tonight Thursday 5/27 and keep looking for it, but not on. When will they bring this excellent show back(the Original)????
Have watched every episode. Agree that the music is outstanding for TV. Glad to see that even though Red is getting a tad sentimental he hasn’t lost his smarminess.
