Get ready for another addition to The Blacklist! The NBC TV show drama has been renewed for a fifth season. James Spader and Megan Boone star in the drama. Although this season the series was joined by a spin-off, The Blacklist Redemption, is it not expected to return.
Each week on the NBC series, viewers watch the characters played by Spader and Boone track down bad guys featured on Red’s blacklist.
Season four of the drama started off with a large drop in the ratings. That drop has only continued. Currently, the series is rated with a 1.03 demo rating and 5.402 million viewers. Still, Deadline has confirmed the season five renewal.

Definitely a keeper, the Blacklist keeps me very interested. The show has many twists and turns which keep me guessing. Characters are great: Red, Liz and all of their task force.
I freaking LOVE the Blacklist! The finale has left me screaming for more. James Spader is totally one great actor! Thank you for not canceling my favorite show!

We love the Blacklist!!!! This show is amazing with its twists and turns. If it has to end after the 5th season, Then we ask that you make it a happy one where everyone wins and Red is with Elizabeth, baby, and her grandfather. Dressler finds out about Tom and destroys him. The spin off that was created Redemption doesn’t really follow well as a spin off now that we know Tom has the suitcase of Liz’s mom’s bones (but we always suspected that Red killed her mother). I Love Blacklist!!! I have watched every season since it started and I am watching the first season again on Netflix. Honestly I am a Fan, Spader is the Best. This is my favorite show, a close 2nd is Blindspot which seems to have a Very Similar plot structure…think about it…they are both have a female with a mystery background, a family member they want to stay close to that is outside the law, a love interest that is difficult and they are both connected to the FBI- Love them both.
Love the show. Cant wait for another season.

I’m addicted to this show…I am so glad to see that it will be back…James Spader is fabulous as the intelligent, ruthless but caring criminal…Glad it’s coming back.
