It’s time to say goodbye to Carrie Bradshaw again. The Carrie Diaries has been cancelled by The CW after two seasons and 26 episodes.
The Carrie Diaries follows the experiences of young Carrie Bradshaw (AnnaSophia Robb) as she grows into the New York writer we know from Sex and the City. Others in the cast include Lindsey Gort, Austin Butler, Katie Findlay, Brendan Dooling, Ellen Wong, Freema Agyeman, Stefania Owen, Matt Letscher, and Chloe Bridges.
The series debuted early last year to a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.61 million viewers. The ratings went up and down over the course of the season and the show could have easily been cancelled but The CW execs decided to stick with it.
Unfortunately, the second season premiere drew just half of the viewership of the series debut some 10 months earlier. Year-to-year, Carrie Diaries dropped nearly 30% in the ratings. While expectations on Friday nights are lower, it seems viewership was just too low to justify the network ordering a third season.
The season (now series) finale aired on January 31st.

Please make a season 3. I’m a person who likes to watch tv shows because they have more details and are longer. This show is one of my favorites.
This show needs to be brought back ASAP! When i found out there was no season 3 and there never would be i was upset because as silly as this sounds this series thought me a lot and i’m sure i’m not the only person who feels this way about The Carrie diaries. BRING IT BACK!
I’m madly dissappointed that it was canceled ! I love this show I watch all 2 seasons in one day and I even missed going to the rose parade with my aunt because of this ! Please brin it back , I will protest so it will come back on i don’t like how it ended atleast make them last together
Really ? I was disappointed to see this ! This show is great it needs more seasons ! Last episode left out so good but I have to know what happens with everyone!!! Please bring it back ASAP !!!!!

Please have a season u can’t end it like that people will ask questions like what’s gobna happen after those two people get married or will Carrie see her boyfriend again… U need to have a season 3 please don’t give up just yet the Carrie diaries is worth that.

I just finished watching season 2 of The Carrie Diaries and I want nothing else but to see more and to see what happens to all of these characters that I have grown to love and care about. It really is a shame if there will not be a season 3. I absolutely love this show. Season 3, 4, 5… is a MUST!
I really lie this show! It’s really really good! It teaches you a lot about life and the ways you go. Carie tought me a lot about life. I want to see how she makes her life to be living with Samantha in New York City. Must be fun! I want to see how all her friends are doing. And how her and her boyfriend are doin together! The show was not the best I have seen. I will be honest. Especially how things kept on happening coincidentally every time. What I have to say though is that I thought the storyline was pretty good since I am very into Sex in the City myself and am looking forward to how the creators of this show were going to transform Carrie into who she became. I don’t think they should have cancelled the show. I was late to know about The Carrie Diaries. But when I started watching it on Netflix I got super attached and realized there was only 2 seasons. So I thought that Netflix was just not puting it on yet. After about a few months of waiting I decided to see if they finally put the 3rd season of The Carrie Diaries on Netflix and it wasn’t there. I started watching the Carrie diaries on Netflix just yesterday and I’m already on season 2 the last episode in fact I mean it is winter break and I really have nothing else better to do but the show just got me hooked! I really do wish they had continued on with series praying and hoping because hey everyone wants to know more about Sebastian Kydd and what he and Carrie will be up to next.

My friend recommended the Carrie Diaries to me. Which I have never heard of before. I watched the whole two seasons on Netflix along with my sister. We both found the show exquisite and exciting. My sister and I believe that the show wasn’t advertised as much. So people didn’t really know what was happening that lead to a very low audience watching the show.That could have caused the show to be cancelled. But us two and
