TV show description:
This thriller series takes place in the year 2025, in a world that’s in the midst of a fertility crisis. Civilization is facing extinction as women have mysteriously stopped bearing children.
After years of research, Doctor Alison Lennon (Marley Shelton) and her team are remarkably able to fertilize 100 human eggs. However, her victory is short-lived when the Director of the US Fertility Commission, Darius Hayes (Martin Donovan), takes government control of the lab and informs the President (Yul Vasquez) of the monumental scientific breakthrough.
To determine which women will carry the prized embryos to term, Chief of Staff Vanessa Keller (Athena Karkanis) convinces the President to hold a national lottery — and a battle over the control of the 100 embryos begins.
Other characters include: Kyle (Michael Graziadei), a recovering alcoholic and single father of one of the last children born in the country; James (David Alpay), Alison’s colleague and lab assistant; and Gabrielle (Shelley Conn), the First Lady of the United States.
Episode #10 — In Extremis
The President announces the winners of the Lottery as the mystery behind the infertility crisis comes to a head.
First aired: September 28, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like The Lottery TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
They always cancel the good shows and keep the stupid shows going. How very enlightening of the world today.
Renew it! Or make a 2 hour ‘ending’ instead of leaving us hanging.
I think it should be renewed. I loved this show. We have to find out what happens to the winners.
Please renew, need to know how everything plays out. Do at least one more season and finish out the plot, reather than leaving everyone hanging. When looking at ratings, Lifetime needs to remember that many viewers records a show and watches it later.
Bring it back I love this show
Please bring back.
The show was different, interesting, and well acted. Lifetime, which doesn’t have many series on it, should have kept it alive. I am most disappointed at the usual network nonsense that if a good show did not catch a huge audience, cancel it. It was up against tough competition. Stupid move, Lifetime.

Yes I think it should be cancelled. Although it wasn’t bad in fact it was quite good. The competition was too great. Especially on the day it was aired. Towards the end it sort of got lost. It’s sad that the story will never be told. Perhaps they can do a one off special for all the fans
Love this show. I HAVE to know what is going to happen!!!!!!
Really missing this show! Please renew it and make a second season!
Yes please renew!!!!
Please renew! I need to have closure to this series!
Amazing show!!! Love love love it
