This police dramedy revolves around the life and career of Laura Diamond (Debra Messing), a brilliant but harried NYPD homicide detective.
She balances her day job with a crazy family life. That includes two unruly twin boys (Vincent Reina and Charlie Reina) and trying to get her fellow cop husband Jake Broderick (Josh Lucas) to sign the divorce papers.
Laura’s handsome partner is Detective Billy Soto (Laz Alonso) and she also works alongside Detective Meredith Bose (Janina Gavankar) and Max Carnegie (Max Jenkins).

I really enjoy this show. Even though it is a crime show it is not graphic like some of them are and there is a little bit of humor thrown in.
Please do not cancel Mysteries of Laura. This series has gotten better with time and the cast is great. Debra Messing is wonderful as Laura Diamond and the supporting cast adds an edginess to the program. I enjoy the twists and turns of each episode.
