The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

Despite a few cons, The Tomorrow People is still a really really good show!! The season finale is an intense cliffhanger, I can’t believe they’re just gonna leave it like that. Bad choice, CW. THIS SHOW MUST BE RENEWED!!
I agree with many others. The CW has cancelled a number of shows in recent years after only one season including now, The Tomorrow People. What a waste of talent. This show was both well written and well acted. Relying solely on ratings is risky business, and works toward the lowest common denominator. Networks have come to rely much too heavily solely on these ratings. Cancelling shows so often alienates viewers, and pushes more and more of us away from watching ANY television at all, and simply viewing movies instead. Very bad decision.
This was the best show. They should definately renew it.

That’s bull ****! I’m from New Zealand I have a lot of friends and family who love this you can’t just end this now! One of the best TV series ever produced.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You draw me in and then cancel…CW has done this to me Several times in the past few years…Dont take away the Tomorrow People….PLEAAAASSSSSSEEEEE. Such a good show. Take Beauty & The Beast instead. I like that show but I like TTP WAY BETTER…Never missed an episode.
