The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I just started watching the show on Netflix I absolutely love the show. I noticed that there was only one season though and so I came to the internet to see where I could watch more. Now I find out that yet another of my favorite shows has been canceled. Who chooses what gets canceled and what doesn’t because I have a bone to pick with them? So frustrated!
I love the show… How could they just cancel the season… M just heart broken… N more over the story is not completed…please

i loved this show, this is awesome show and i am really disappointed that they stopped it and no season 2, sci fi movies and series do have a large audience and i hope to see soon season 2 of this show “the Tomorrow people”.
I really hate when CW does this. They get us hooked on season 1 and then just leave us jonesing for more with no mercy. This sci-fi series really has been one of my favorites. I hope they change their minds of another network starts it up. Come on CW! Give the people what they want.
Loved this show if they couldn’t make a second season at least give it a proper ending. Will John ever get his memories back? At least make another season to give it a proper ending. Loved this show so much. Watched as the episodes kept getting released and couldn’t wait for the second season, but looks like that dream was crushed.
Why?? Seriously, there should, no I mean, MUST have a season 2 of Tomorrow People because in the end of season 1, it was OBVIOUSLY not finished due to that gone mad scientist Jed stole John on his side and erased his memories of the Tomorrow People who knew them. Real disappointed in that. If Monday night’s didn’t successful, why don’t you move to Thursday nights? Huh?
Just finished the season on Netflix. I’m so mad that there won’t be a season 2. Please reconsider bringing back the show. If there is a season 2 there will be a lot more viewers due to Netflix I really believe this show could be extremely successful.
That sucks. We just watched season 1 on netfkix & had never even heard of it before. It was a really good show.

why??? this was a very good show i finished this in only 5 days why not bring it back as well as star-crossed they were both fantastic shows and i wouldnt be surprised that the views and rating go up for these shows if you ever change youre minds about cancelling these tv shows!!nyou should really consider youre decisons about cancelling them.
I watched the tomorrow peope and loved it there needs to be a season two…..i dont care who doesnt like it but for the people who do they want a second season and it makes me very mad that they wont make another season of the tomorrow people
I just watched every episode in 4 days on Netflix. Looking for a season 2 to see it was cancelled. Very disappointed
