The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

Seriously I agree with Kelly. They keep stupid shows like Resurrection on and cancel Tomorrow People? It’s a fresh concept and also a note realistic one due to it’s basis in actual science. I mean really CW.
WHAT?! I am super late so I watched them all on Netflix, but it was an amazing show and I was so looking forward to a second season! Why would they cancel it?!

So upset that the CW doesn’t plan on continuing this series. I thought it was awesome and am so disappointed that it’s cancelled.
Great show, left me in suspense. Please Bring it Back. The Show has alot of possibilities. Me and my kids where hooked on the episodes till we finished the episodes on Netflix.

why do they always do that? just because the ratings are down they have to ruin it for the people that stayed throughout the show? that’s mean.
I am really sad to see the tomorrow people end. I really enjoyed that series. It is in my top 3 tv shows.

They should definitely bring it back. It was much better then other shows that are renewed.
