The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I just discovered this show The Tomorrow People on Netflix about a couple weeks ago and just finished watching season 1 and I am in love with the show and know that season 2 has been canceled just sucks! Please bring the show back!!!

I loved watching this show. The only thing that i hated was everytime a new show came out it was always on the same days as the other shows that I watch. So no matter what one of the shows I would have to wait and watch it on my DVR later. If they would start speading out the day or differnet times of the show that would work best.

I only just discovered this show on Netflix and are family was hooked they should really think about the people that can’t see it on its normal time/day on tv cuz of work or no cable ect… we really hope and ask to bring it back they didn’t give the show a chance to get out there i tbh dont ever remember seeing a commercial about this show like i did for “Flash” and i think its out now thanks to Netflix i dont think i would have found it we loved it again please bring it back!!!!!
Seriously good television, it was better than arrow, supernatural, or even smallville, it should be put on a Tuesday or Thursday night.
I am so upset to find this out . I love this TV show . i just found it on Netflix . I was so sad to see how it ended and can’t wait to see the second season . I hope this isn’t true and that they have enough viewers because we all know that this is disappointing to find this out to everyone who watches . Very disappointed CW has decided to cancel The Tomorrow People!! I was very surprised at the ratings also. Maybe the show was in a poor time slot or up against too many other shows. I found this show on Netflix and believe it was highly underrated!! Very sad!! I hope they decide to bring it back!!
