The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

What do the Americans watch? every decent show is cut after one series. Tomorrow People is a great show, with a storyline that keeps you on edge. Really, what are the alternatives that’s taking away the viewers of these shows we believe is worth watching

Cannot believe they won’t be making a second series. Me and my family absolutely loved the show and are extremely disappointed that there won’t be another. Was such an amazing show
Please return The Tomorrow People!!!!! Why dont you stations give anything a longer chance to gather a following? I just told a bunch of family members and friends to check it out and they were all excited to do so but now I found out that you cancelled it? Whats wrong with you not giving shows a chance to build an audience? All good shows have a slump at some point even The Walking Dead did, as did many others. Please bring it back!!!

loved the show, never missed 1 episode, even got my Aussie gf into it & my older sister. you need to make the second series even if you just bring out on dvd. please please please. should also air it on different channels, not most ppl watch E4.
