The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

This is crazy I am seeing this on netflix for the first time and really upset I only get one season. Just because there are not that many viewers in the beginning means nothing. People already have their current shows so until they get a chance to watch things in the off season of their shows they dont get a chance to watch things. im very frustrated that my favorite tv show is over. And I started watching The Tomorrow People this week. It is one of the best show on CW. I think that it should be renewed. CW should think about the people who like the show then the people who didn’t. Yes there other show are really exciting like The 100 and The Flash but those TV shows didn’t get me hooked in the beginning like The Tomorrow People did. That’s way they should renew it.

Why would they cancel this show we finally saw a glimpse if what Stephen is truly capable of and then they just end it no there needs to be and has to he a season two if not they should of ended this season with the death of Stephen cause this show can’t go on without him
There should definitely be a second season. Its a great show and they would be making a mistake if they stopped making new episodes.

I thought it was I good show you need to make a second season it can’t just end like that
You need to make a season two because you can’t end a good show with a new plot
In the beginning the show was slightly dry. but the directors and writers did amazing character adaptment and allowing the viewer to feel from a specific point of view, or many all at once. I believe that the show is at the very beginning of what can be a MASSIVE success. If the CW is too blind to see this, I pray that Netflix picks it up
Are you guys mad? This is one of the best movies ever made i searched 2 months for a cool paranormal serie now i got one and you guys cancel it? If i was there i would punch you in the face now make the second season or i will!

The CW always does this crap! A lot of shows I liked including the tomorrow people are cancelled after only one season wth!!! Give it a chance to have a following before you give the boot!!! Annoyed!!
