Though the cast and crew of The Whole Truth will get to finish filming their 13 episode commitment, there’s no guarantee viewers will get to see them any time soon. Earlier this week, it was revealed that the show had been cancelled by ABC. Now, it looks like the network is pulling the legal drama from the schedule for the whole month of November.
As previously announced, next week’s episode will be preempted by the interview special In the Spotlight With Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville. The following week, the entire Wednesday night line-up is bumped for the Country Music Awards.
After that, Whole Truth is being replaced by a pair of celebrity specials. On November 17th, ABC will air 25 Years of Sexy: People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive!. The following week, Primetime: Celebrity Plastic Surgery Gone Too Far? will take the timeslot.
It’s unknown if The Whole Truth will return in December or if ABC will keep the remaining nine episodes sitting on the shelf.
What do you think? Will ABC air the rest of the The Whole Truth episodes soon, over the summer, or never?

Could it be that it was just too good?. ABC wouldn’t recognize good if it hit them in the face. I picked it over the “Defenders” which is still there and NOT good. Same old crap. Is this what people want?.”The Whole Truth” was a “smart show”, I guess that’s what they don’t get. I’d like to know why it was not given a chance?.
Im going to quit watching network television!
I too was very disappointed that this show was canceled. I liked the concept of viewing boths sides and finding out “The Whole Truth” at the end. I’m sure they will find yet another lame reality show to replace it!!! Why not change the time slot and let the remaining episodes play out and then make a decision. Thanks for letting me vent.
BOOOOOOOO, ABC!! Another show we liked canceled. What the heck?!? And you replace it with Celebrity Plastic Surgery? Give me a break.
I am extremely disappointed in ABC! The Whole Truth was my favorite new show.
What are they thinking! It was the most interesting show on with great actors. CHANGE YOUR MINDS ABC!
What a shame! The show was innovative and not your usual done and done again plot. Loved the twists? at the end. I will miss a “thinking person’s” legal show….there’s so few of them left.
Why in the world would you cancel a show that is so great and after the verdict you found the truth….Finallly a show that is worth the time to watch and you :PULL IT
come on already think again
I’am glad other people are posting that they like the show Whole Truth, because I do too.
It’s a great show. Would ABC consider another day or time, and give the show the chance it deserves?
ABC….. dumb move….now, I’m canceling YOU….not wasting my time on what remaining series you think are better than what you already had going for yourself. Don’t start what you can’t finish.
I really liked this show. I hope abc will allow the 9 episodes to be played and even bring back next season.
I can’t believe this show has been cancelled already. It is well acted, well scripted and interesting. No wonder it didn’t last. Of course shows like Hawaii Five O will stay on with it’s lame acting, unbelievble scripts (even for TV) and totally uninteresting plots. Oh, don’t get me started…….
I am shocked that such an intelligently written show has been canceled by ABC. It was never even given a chance to find its audience, much less a change in time slot which may have helped. It was one of the 2 or 3 best shows to surface this season and now ‘poof’–GONE! Shame on you ABC!!
First they cancel a great show like Numbers & Ghost Whisperer my 2 favorite shows ever and now that I found a good show to watch they pull it before giving it a chance. This show was great. Please renew their contract for the viewers.
I thoroughly enjoyed the show and am very disappointed it’s been cancelled. It really seems like it hardly had a chance. I guess intelligent shows just don’t make it anymore. How disappointing.
Just when I started liking a show, they pull it. I really liked how they filmed the whole truth and when they would back track to the other side. The flirting between the two of them was so cute too. Guess I have to settle for watching Criminal Minds. I wonder why ABC didn’t think it was a good show?
I really enjoyed the show and will miss it. It was a very satisfying moment after the verdict when the audience discovered the truth of what happened.
How can we get ABC to consider bringing it back?
