Though the cast and crew of The Whole Truth will get to finish filming their 13 episode commitment, there’s no guarantee viewers will get to see them any time soon. Earlier this week, it was revealed that the show had been cancelled by ABC. Now, it looks like the network is pulling the legal drama from the schedule for the whole month of November.
As previously announced, next week’s episode will be preempted by the interview special In the Spotlight With Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville. The following week, the entire Wednesday night line-up is bumped for the Country Music Awards.
After that, Whole Truth is being replaced by a pair of celebrity specials. On November 17th, ABC will air 25 Years of Sexy: People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive!. The following week, Primetime: Celebrity Plastic Surgery Gone Too Far? will take the timeslot.
It’s unknown if The Whole Truth will return in December or if ABC will keep the remaining nine episodes sitting on the shelf.
What do you think? Will ABC air the rest of the The Whole Truth episodes soon, over the summer, or never?

Very disasppointed the show was pulled so quickly. Give it a chance!!! There is so little of worth to watch on television. How can a decision be made so quickly – four shows!!!
Working for a criminal attorney, I loved this show. The ending was the best part! How could you pull the plug on this? It was a great family show for all of us to watch. Looks like I will need to find something else to watch, on ABC for that night! I DVR this show because it falls on a church night, but I still always watch it!
The whole Truth was fresh. The show is a new and interesting view for a court drama. Perhaps a review of ABC’s line up is what is needed. Though I know with the way we viewers can record or use channel 358 allows viewing at our convenience… The Whole Truth is one show I enjoyed watching with my morning coffee, if I had missed the original airing. ABC needs to rethink their cancelling..is this why ABC has difficult competing with NBC and CBS?
This was my favorite new show. Liked the premise, the characters and the way the stories developed. So much better than so many other new ones!
It comes as no surprise that as soon as an intelligent, well acted show appears on ABC it is cancelled. The Whole Truth exemplifies all the essential elements to satisfy an audience that appreciates excellent writing and acting; people that aren’t satisfied with contrivance and visual imagery. After viewing the first episode we agreed that it couldn’t last on ABC. Your yardstick is probably Lost and Dancing With The Stars and your programming executives don’t rise above the intelligence of that audience. A pox on you and all the TV stations that ignore us.
I loved this show and very dissapointed to see it go!
ABC disappoints again. This is another down, just like “October Road.” Good television cannot survive on Disney’s channel. Can’t trust the news, either, packaged for ratings. If Bristol wins Dancing, we’re pulling the plug on ABC, business & politics.
What a disappointment. Loves the show. Great chemistry between the actors. ABC us stupid to take this show if the air. Big mistake ABC
I’m so disappointed that ABC has cancelled The Whole Truth. I wonder if because it was showing at the same time is The Defender’s on CBS … perhaps that created a conflict. Both shows are terrific and I wish the we, the people who watch these shows, had a vote!! Afterall we are the ones who can tell the networks what we like plus what works!!
I am very dissappointed that one of the best new shows this season would even be in consideration for a drop. I can’t believe it!!! If you want people to continue watching ABC I think you better reconsider good shows like this one. What a poor decision you are making!!!!!
I hope that the network decides to continue this show. It is intelligent and well acted. I especially enjoy the surprise endings.
BEST SHOW OF SEASON. THE ENDING IS ALWAYS FASCINATING. BRING IT BACK!!!!
THIS IS THE BEST NEW SHOW. MOVE INTO A BETTER TIME SLOT. WHERE MORE PEOPLE WILL GET TO APPRECIATE IT. LOVE THE WAY IT ENDS. ALWAYS INTRIGUING
The Whole Truth is an awesome show the cast has awesome chemestry and it is so well written. Please give the show time to develop how can you decide after four episodes if it is a keeper or not. I agree with Dippity do Castle is the only other show on this network worth watching. I know Dancing with the Stars is the highest rates show out there but you cant ride that forever you need some substance shows to hold your network
I am really upset to lose this excellent drama. Acting was great, chemistry betweet actors was perfect, and the little “after ending” made the show totally different from all other courtroom dramas. The “powers-that-be” sure didn’t give this one time enought to collect a growing audience. Shoot-em up no brainers like “Hawaii Five-O” don’t take any brains to watch, so it is an instant hit. Shame on ABC!
