Though the cast and crew of The Whole Truth will get to finish filming their 13 episode commitment, there’s no guarantee viewers will get to see them any time soon. Earlier this week, it was revealed that the show had been cancelled by ABC. Now, it looks like the network is pulling the legal drama from the schedule for the whole month of November.
As previously announced, next week’s episode will be preempted by the interview special In the Spotlight With Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville. The following week, the entire Wednesday night line-up is bumped for the Country Music Awards.
After that, Whole Truth is being replaced by a pair of celebrity specials. On November 17th, ABC will air 25 Years of Sexy: People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive!. The following week, Primetime: Celebrity Plastic Surgery Gone Too Far? will take the timeslot.
It’s unknown if The Whole Truth will return in December or if ABC will keep the remaining nine episodes sitting on the shelf.
What do you think? Will ABC air the rest of the The Whole Truth episodes soon, over the summer, or never?

Loved this show. I hope they decide to bring it back.
Bad move on network’s part. Really bad move. What a stupid decision by high-paid execs. Hope it is picked up by another network and garners lots of grammies.
The cancelling of this show is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard of. I hope some other network picks them up because this is one of the best shows on TV. Stupid, stupid TV execs. I want to be paid to make these stupid decisions!!!
Sorry to hear you’re canceling this show, I found it quite entertaining and well done. Hope you find room for it soon, I’d like to see come back on the air in the near future.
So what else is new? ABC has a long, long track record of sacrificing quality programming in order to feed the public dreck. This show — with its unique approach to presenting a case, its solid cast, and its compelling stories — was doomed from the start.
I thought it was a great show. Why pull this one and leave some of the crap on?
Come on! I really liked this show. Take off some of that reality mess if you need to cut a show. I don’t care about the celebs or who the sexy people of the moment are. I would like to be entertained by actors with a script and proper training. That is all.
I LOVED watching it every Friday night at 11 pm while eating pizza. God. Outlaw canceled. The Whole Truth canceled. What’s next? Who is dumber… the networks or America? I don’t even know anymore.
LOVE THIS SHOW. Love Maura and Rob especially.
I liked how you get to see both sides of the “case” and then the Verdict and at the Very end find out the Truth regardless of how the Jury found them. Lots of New shows that were terrible but this was just not one of them.
My husband and I really enjoy the interesting twist to the usual legal drama. We very much appreciate the work of the actors; and we hope that the network really reconsider their decision to pull the project.
My family of 7 is REALLY disappointed this show is being cancelled. We loved it for its duality and just good entertainment. So sad!
I just found the show 2 weeks ago and loved it! I was looking forward to many more seasons. I know this sounds bad, but I am crushed about this. My hubby works late and TV is our one activity we enjoy together. This show was becoming a fast favorite along with Chase and Undercovers.
Who makes these decisions anyway? Every time we get a quality show, it’s cancelled.
A bunch of us really loved this show, it’s twists and turns and the surprise ending each week I really would like ABC to return The Whole Truth to thier tv lineup.
