What were you watching last night? Original network programming, reruns, cable, or something else?
RIP “Mrs. Wolowitz”. Too young…
It’s interesting to see the numbers tumble with each successive program in CBS’s Thursday line-up. “The McCarthys” is doomed, and CBS can’t be satisfied with the numbers for “Elementary.” And what a dismal conclusion to “Two and a Half Men.”
At NBC, one has to wonder if they’ll put “A to Z” out of its misery before burning off the existing 13 episodes. Those are CW numbers! And I personally enjoy “Bad Judge,” but there apparently aren’t many of us who will miss it when it’s gone.
Gracepoint is again the only show we watched last night. For us, it’s thought provoking not like many mindless shows. While we are looking forward to the finale, some sadness exists that there likely won’t be more. I prefer these shorter term ‘mini-series’ than the traditional 20+ episode sets that seem to drag out forever.
(OK yes there is a British series, but we barely have time to see one show a night, so can’t find time to stream/rent others. I don’t know how other people have all the time.)
Fox better end Gracepoint soon and CBS better end The McCarthys soon. Here’s my prediction for CBS’ Thursday night line-up in the 2015-16 TV season: 8 p.m. – The Big Bang Theory. 8:30 p.m. – 2 Broke Girls. 9 p.m. – Mom. 9:30 p.m. – NEW SITCOM. 10 p.m. – Elementary.
Fox decided to brave it out with Gracepoint as they don’t have anything else in their cupboard. Ratings are still awful. The fact that Fox have left it to finish in primetime rather than burying it shows how very desperate and vulnerable Fox is at the moment.
Gracepoint is just a 10 episode series and why won’t Fox gives us a freakin’ answer whether or not Gracepoint is a “limited series”?
Gracepoint is a limited series. The British version is only one season also.
Broadchurch (UK version) is returning for a second season.
I did not see the tribute on BBT, I thought they were going to save it to the end and do a “in memoriam to” type of thing.
