The new NBC pilot called Time has landed its male lead. According to Deadline, Matt Lanter will play the lead in the series. Right now, the series is still in the pilot phase. Update: 5/13/2016: NBC ordered the show to series with a new title, Timeless.
Lanter is no stranger to television audiences. He starred for five seasons on CW series 90210, and he also appeared in Star-Crossed and The Astronauts Wive’s Club.
Deadline shared more about the pilot:
“[Time] is a high-octane drama following an unlikely trio who travel through time to battle a master criminal intent on altering the fabric of human history with potentially catastrophic results.”
Abigail Spencer has been cast as the female lead for the series. Will you add Time to your weekly television viewing if it becomes a series? Tell us what you think.
Really hope Time gets picked up as a series for NBC now that they cast Matt Lanter. His new TV gig should bounce back after his last show Star Crossed (The CW) got cancelled.
