NEW YORK, March 2, 2016 – FYI’s original series “Tiny House Nation,” which celebrates the exploding trend of extreme downsizing across the country, returns with all-new episodes on Saturday, March 26 at 9pm ET/PT. “Tiny House Nation” was the first of its kind in the tiny living genre, and continues to rank as the network’s #1 rated program in the home space.
The series follows host John Weisbarth and renovation expert Zack Giffin as they travel across America showing off ingenious small spaces and the inventive people who live in them. Along the way, they help families design and construct their own mini dream homes, each no larger than 500 square feet.
No matter how daunting a job may appear, from the very start of each building process, John and Zack will prove to new tiny home owners that they don’t necessarily need the amount of space they initially thought they couldn’t live without. Micro-living does not mean giving up luxury – it means gaining financial independence and simplifying life in more ways than one.
In the March 26th premiere of “Tiny House Nation,” NBA star Matt Bonner and his family opt to live tiny and change their lifestyle for the better. Despite Bonner’s undeniably tall stature, the basketball player is determined to make it work in order to have a permanent place for his family and him to call home. With obvious challenges ahead, it’s up to John and Zack to figure out how to fit a 6’10” professional basketball player into a pint-size pad that’s less than 300 square feet.
Additional tiny feats featured in season three include a clothing designer couple from Georgia, who want their new tiny house to double as a pop-up shop; a tricked out tiny home with smart gadgets for a tech-savvy couple in Illinois; a tiny house in North Carolina that incorporates a couple’s love for aviation; a surf-shack themed tiny house for a laid back couple from California, and more.
“Tiny House Nation” is produced for FYI by Loud TV. Executive producers for Loud TV are David George, Nick Rigg, Jordana Hochman and Tennessee Edwards. Executive producers for FYI are Gena McCarthy and James Bolosh.”
