Last year, ABC Family introduced three new dramas — Twisted, Ravenswood, and The Fosters. Ravenswood (a Pretty Little Liars spin-off) has been cancelled while The Fosters has been renewed. What will become of Twisted?
Airing on Tuesday nights, Twisted is a mystery/thriller series that revolves around 17 year old Danny Desai (Avan Jogia). Six years ago, he was charged with killing his aunt and he ended up spending five years in juvenile detention. Now, he’s been released and has returned to his small hometown in New York. As he tries to resume his life, a classmate is killed and Danny becomes a key suspect. The cast also includes Madelaine Hasson, Kylie Bunbury, Ashton Moio, Kimberly Quinn, Denise Richards, and Sam Robards.
The pilot episode aired as a special preview in March 2013 and drew 1.19 million viewers. It wasn’t a great start but the ratings picked up when the regular season started in June. They quickly fell again but ABC Family ordered 10 additional episodes of Twisted anyway. That decision may have been influenced by the fact that they had recently cancelled Bunheads and The Lying Game.
When the second half of the season kicked off in February and viewership nearly hit a new low, despite the fact that it had popular Pretty Little Liars as a lead-in. Last week, when Twisted no longer had that strong lead-in, viewership hit an all-time low with just 726,000 viewers.
The second half of the season averaged 1.11 million viewers. Ravenswood was cancelled with higher viewership. Based on these numbers, it’s looking unlikely that ABC Family will order a second season of Twisted.

It is an AMAZING show and anyone who thinks other wise is wrong, it is like Pretty Little Liars, yet people don’t watch it! Give it another chance, you put up signs saying that there is going to be another season and then you don’t give us that season. You end on a note of which has to be answered, they have to have another season or at least a summary episode saying what happened after the last episode!
Please I need them to renew this show! I miss it so so much!!!!
Renew. This show was awesome and had great potential the only reason it didn’t get tv ratings is because mostly teens watch this and we all watch it on netflix or xfinity or the abcfamily app, abc family should really start checking ratings from more places where the show is aired.

Please please bring twisted back for a 2nd season! !! At least wrap it up its not fair to just leave the shows dedicated viewers hanging….

I watched all the shows u have canceled and I really think you should bring all 3 of them back or do like a 2 or 3 hr conclusion to the shows… I really enjoyed all of them… THE LYING GAME, RAVENSWOOD AND TWISTED… you suck us in and give us nothing in return and I hate it… I am an avid watcher of all ur shows on abc family I dvr them cause im a mother of 5 and its my down Time to watch them..please please bring them back..im grown and was totally into all 3 shows

There’s Been a Rates On People Watching Lowered But If They See The Show & They Would Love it And Also Hope For a Season 2 Please Give The Show another Chance
I really do want them to renew Twisted. I dont think i can go another day wondering if its coming back. I NEED this thing to go all the way. They just left me out there. If it does not renew im going to cry its a really great show. I also really love The Fosters.

Please I’m addicted to that show (twisted) I really need to see what’s going to happen ! Like someone else said at least consider a final episode that last longer so we at least know what’s going to happen ! This show is awesome ! And I know that it’s not a lot of viewer but just one last episode please !
I definitely think they should renew twisted I fell in love with that show it always had you guessing and trying to figure it out yourself and as soon as you got close something happened to make you think otherwise PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE!!!! RENEW
Please consider like a two hour finale to wrap it up atleast. If you don’t consider renewing. I really enjoyed the show and I know many ther do too. Honestly I hate pretty little liars, but numbers matter. Something different than the normal shows. Please at least consider an ending if planning to cancel.
