Last year, ABC Family introduced three new dramas — Twisted, Ravenswood, and The Fosters. Ravenswood (a Pretty Little Liars spin-off) has been cancelled while The Fosters has been renewed. What will become of Twisted?
Airing on Tuesday nights, Twisted is a mystery/thriller series that revolves around 17 year old Danny Desai (Avan Jogia). Six years ago, he was charged with killing his aunt and he ended up spending five years in juvenile detention. Now, he’s been released and has returned to his small hometown in New York. As he tries to resume his life, a classmate is killed and Danny becomes a key suspect. The cast also includes Madelaine Hasson, Kylie Bunbury, Ashton Moio, Kimberly Quinn, Denise Richards, and Sam Robards.
The pilot episode aired as a special preview in March 2013 and drew 1.19 million viewers. It wasn’t a great start but the ratings picked up when the regular season started in June. They quickly fell again but ABC Family ordered 10 additional episodes of Twisted anyway. That decision may have been influenced by the fact that they had recently cancelled Bunheads and The Lying Game.
When the second half of the season kicked off in February and viewership nearly hit a new low, despite the fact that it had popular Pretty Little Liars as a lead-in. Last week, when Twisted no longer had that strong lead-in, viewership hit an all-time low with just 726,000 viewers.
The second half of the season averaged 1.11 million viewers. Ravenswood was cancelled with higher viewership. Based on these numbers, it’s looking unlikely that ABC Family will order a second season of Twisted.

I really felt that twisted is a great show in full of attention grabbing drama and I can’t wait til the next season so please don’t leave me and my daughters hanging on and hoping for more . Years I think twisted deserves to come back and my age 50 and my girls 30 and 19 ,hope we made appoint good enough to keep it going thank you.

Nooooo please don’t cancel twisted, the show has to come back, just because the rating were low doesn’t mean the show wasn’t great, I love twisted, maybe changing the day or time the show comes on will spark the ratings but the show is great and definitely shouldn’t be canceled!
Twisted HAS to come back. I feel twisted is a great show and keeps the fans intrigued. Many have felt they can relate to the problems(maybe not the killing, but as the crushes and relationships).
look this show is pretty munch my life so…..I really need the second season i mean you cant just end a show with 2 cliff hangers. We have to find out what jack and Whitney are planning. Also the gunshot at the end when Tess announced that Charlie was her son. Did or did not chief shoot him? I wanna see Danny and Jo’s future. Twisted HAS to come back. It’s the best show ever and they can just leave us hanging like that. I get it pretty little liars is hard to compete with but you HAVE to do something about This. I can’t loose my Twister!!!
I truly hope “Twisted” is not cancelled because it really is a good show! The writers are fantastic and keep the viewer on the edge of the seat, waiting to see what is around the next bend. However, if the network does not want to keep it, possibly they can send it over to Netflix, where several GOOD shows are now being cast; such as, “The Killing”.
The thing is that abc family is not allowed to send their shows to netfleix at all they will get into serious troubble all network have to respect all the policy to netfleix they can only send twisted to another network

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE TWISTED!!! Why does it have to end like that. Dropping a huge bomb like that….the gunshot, the charlie been jo’s mom’s son!, and THE FACT THAT CHARLIE SAID HE FELL IN LOVE WITH JO!!!!!!!!! Does anybody not see that?!?!?
i think pretty little liars should be cancelled i love twisted its a great tv series and i need to know whats happening with jack and his so-called daughter
its bull **** ima be pissed if they dont review it just like im pissed about the lying game and ravenswood. abc u freaking suck. everytime i get into a show its cancelled. the only show ive watched on ur network and had closure with was secret life of the american teenager. i hate seeing good shows get cancelled especially after the first season. most people watch the first season of new shows on netflix and hulu then pick it up in the second season on air. guess that doesnt count.

Twisted needs to come back to Tuesday nights!!!! Every night Twisted was my life and my life will just suck without it coming back!! Plus at the end of the last season they totally dropped it and all its viewers don’t know what happens at the end!!!! 🙁

I think pretty little liars should be canceled I watch it but tht ***** been going on to long and everybody wants to know what happens on twisted cuz if thts the endin thts just ****** up and nobody knows who got shot thts jut dumb it was my favorite show to they need to renew the show ASAP and get rid of pretty little liars!!!!! that is really sad I love twisted. I was waiting for it to come back on. n now I hear ABC family might not want twisted. please bring twisted back it was getting so interesting. I love twisted n I hate pretty little liars that show is so drama. twisted was the best thing for ABC family.
