Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt just debuted its fourth and final season, so what’s next? According to The Hollywood Reporter, there may be a movie in the works for the Netflix TV show.
The comedy centers on Kimmy Schmidt (Ellie Kemper), a young woman who moves to New York City after being rescued from a doomsday cult. The cast also includes Tituss Burgess, Carol Kane, Jane Krakowski, Jon Hamm, Fred Armisen, and Mike Carlsen.
Per THR, the second half of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt‘s fourth and final season will debut on Netflix on January 25th, 2019. Additionally, co-creator Robert Carlock says there are plans to develop a movie based on the sitcom:
We now have a shorter runway than we originally thought we would and don’t want to overstuff it and rush it. And there are things that I think would be fun to hold off for kind of a big epic finale in feature form.”
