CBS has released information about the next episode of Vegas, the first installment to air on Friday nights. Starring Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis, the TV show has been struggling on Tuesday nights and was very likely headed for cancellation.
Since the audience skews older, the network has decided to see how it will perform paired with Blue Bloods. This may end up being the show’s best chance of survival. Now we get to see if people will actually tune in on April 5th.
There are six new episodes left for Vegas to prove itself worthy of a second season.
SHERIFF LAMB AND FBI AGENT BYRNE BUTT HEADS WHEN BYRNE PREVENTS LAMB FROM PRESSING CHARGES AGAINST A PIMP IN ORDER TO GET INFO ON SAVINO INSTEAD, ON “VEGAS,” ON A NEW DAY AND TIME, FRIDAY, APRIL 5
“Little Fish” – Sheriff Lamb and FBI Agent Byrne butt heads when Byrne prevents Lamb from pressing charges against a pimp in order to get info on Savino instead. Also, Dixon falls hard for Hollywood starlet Viola (guest star Anna Camp), and Tommy and Dixon discover that Yvonne has a chance at becoming a professional singer, on VEGAS, on a new day and time, Friday, April 5 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

What do you think? Will you be tuning in to watch Vegas on Friday nights? Should the series be renewed for a second season?
I think Vegas is a great show, with a lot of star power. I wonder if it would have better ratings if it were on an hour earlyer. I vote to keep it on, whatever day, I will watch it.
DO NOT CANCEL VEGAS IT IS ONE OF THE BETTER TV SHOWS.
We love this show. Please keep it going.
I hope the series Vegas comes on air again. I’d watch it every night if it were scheduled to be online in that manner.
I enjoy the cast and the story lines.

To me, Vegas is the best TV show to come along for many years, sure hope it hangs around for a few more.
The show is GREAT. I will watch it on Fridays. The crew is Super. THANK YOU
I love this show. I’d hate to lose it!!
Vegas is one of best shows this season on any network. Please don’t cancel it. The writing is great; the cast is great; the only thing wrong is that it hasn’t been on for a few weeks. My husband and I are big fans of the show and we look forward to watching every Tuesday. Changing it to Friday before Blue Bloods won’t be a problem for us, though. We’d watch it any day of the week — and Blue Bloods is another of our favorites.
Ha, ‘audience skews older’. Man, I guess I am getting old at 31!! We love this show and are so sick of the ‘city’ sleeze and CSI type shows. Can’t wait for to watch Vegas on PVR on April 6th. This old lady can’t stay up late to watch tv anymore!
Please keep this show running. Vegas is a favorite vacation spot of ours for the past 35 years and this brings back memories of the ole days.
CBS–PLEASE keep Vegas on TV. Excellent story, characters & actors–with something for all audiences–police drama based on reality ( a true “Reality show), an historical/educational component, western/”cowboy” genre, romance/relationships sub-stories and even some comedy.
Please don’t punish your fans by cancelling a great show–don’t do what another network did to viewers when cancelling “Life on Mars”.
Give it a chance–at least another season. VIEWERS ARE RUNNING OUT OF DECENT MAJOR TV NETWORK SHOWS TO WATCH!
Please DO NOT cancel Vegas!!! It is a great show and the cast is excellent! Good story and plot – writers have it going on. This show deserves to be seen. I have missed it and can hardly wait until I can see it again. I will definately tune in on Friday, April 5!

I agree with EVERY word of this comment…getting very tired of networks cancelling shows show quickly when they are not #1 in the first couple weeks after airing…Reality shows do nothing for me…
I love the show. It’s a great period piece. I will be looking forward to seeng it on Friday.
Vegas could be on any day of the week and I would watch it. The cast is great. It is one of the most entertaining shows on TV.
