Is CJ Cregg coming back to TV? In a recent interview, West Wing star Allison Janney said she’d love to reprise the character, Express reports.
Janney played Cregg, the White House Press Secretary, for six seasons on the NBC political drama. In the seventh, her character was promoted to Chief of Staff.
Recently, Janney expressed interested in a West Wing revival, saying she loves all her former co-stars:
I love all my compadres from the West Wing. I’ve been seeing them a lot lately. I would love to walk the halls again with them at a fast pace walk and talk. It would be a thrill. Here people are looking at the political scene and wishing there was a Jed Bartlet again. I’m with Hillary. I hope she can bring back some sense.”
A reprisal wouldn’t be so far-fetched. In April, Janney appeared as Cregg at the real White House.

I would easily welcome back the West Wing it was at the top of my list for being one of the best shows in television history. It was well written, well spoken the exceptional plots. The actors were above average and excellent portraying characters that appeared real. It was wonderful hearing the English language actually being used fully and completely and in proper context.
