A spy drama with a screwball comedy bent, Whiskey Cavalier stars Scott Foley, Lauren Cohan, Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins. The series centers on FBI Agent Will Chase (Foley), codename: “Whiskey Cavalier” and CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Cohan), codename: “Fiery Tribune.” Although they start off as rivals, they’re soon assigned to a joint-agency task force to root out corruption and crime and save the world.
Airing on Wednesday nights, the first season of Whiskey Cavalier is averaging a 0.59 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.47 million viewers.
Out of the 21 scripted ABC TV shows of the 2018-19 season, Whiskey Cavalier is in 18th place in the demo and 13th place in total viewership.
The decision to renew or cancel Whiskey Cavalier reportedly came down to the wire. Word is that Warner Bros TV will be shopping season two to other outlets so there is some small hope that the series will survive.

I like him in the Unit, I liked her in the Walking Dead. I do NOT like them in this show.

I watched the first two shows and wasn’t impressed much. I decided to keep watching. The more I watched, the more it grew on me as the characters developed. I would definitely watch another season.
Yes, I would have watched season 2. I enjoy this show. This is the third time ABC has cancelled a show I like after the first season instead of giving it a chance to find an audience or figuring out what changes need to be made in season 2. I hope a cable network picks it up.

Whiskey Cavalier is very entertaining. It’s the right mix of action and humor that seems to flow effortlessly. Why ABC? This show did not deserve cancellation.

This is such a great show because it is clever, funny and not so down. It has
everything and the characters really care about each other and teach us things
