A spy drama with a screwball comedy bent, Whiskey Cavalier stars Scott Foley, Lauren Cohan, Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins. The series centers on FBI Agent Will Chase (Foley), codename: “Whiskey Cavalier” and CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Cohan), codename: “Fiery Tribune.” Although they start off as rivals, they’re soon assigned to a joint-agency task force to root out corruption and crime and save the world.
Airing on Wednesday nights, the first season of Whiskey Cavalier is averaging a 0.59 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.47 million viewers.
Out of the 21 scripted ABC TV shows of the 2018-19 season, Whiskey Cavalier is in 18th place in the demo and 13th place in total viewership.
The decision to renew or cancel Whiskey Cavalier reportedly came down to the wire. Word is that Warner Bros TV will be shopping season two to other outlets so there is some small hope that the series will survive.

Please don’t cancel the show whisky cavalier. I really enjoy the comedy in it and great actors. My grandchildren likes it also. They are the teens. Bring it back to us.
Whiskey Cavalier is a brilliant show. My husband and I love watching it. It reminds us of shows from years gone by. It has everything action, comedy, drama and a great cast. Please make sure another network picks it up as it would be a terrible waste to lose it forever !! Why do these networks cancel so much good stuff ?
I love Whiskey Cavalier and it sounds like lots of other people do too. My mom and I watch every Wednesday and we love it. It’s funny and the action is really good. Please do NOT cancel this show!
I can’t believe the show has been canceled already. It was obviously a bad time slot, and mediocre promotion to begin with, but the show was excellent. Action-packed, not too heavy, not too light, drama and comedy, and amazing photography and locations. TV has not seen something this fantastic in a long time. Abc has a habit of becoming very cut-throat in recent years, to the point of me starting to look at other networks, as this one has no loyalty to its programs, nor to its viewers. My husband….our daughter….our grandson & myself love Whiskey Cavalier. Please do not cancel this show….my husband & I are retired & spend a lot of evenings watching TV. So I guess we will be watching other shows on different channels now. We will not be watching whatever replaces Whiskey Cavalier. They’ve only been on just about 2 or 3 months so how do you explain not giving them a chance for another season? Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooo to you ABC!!!!! I really hope that ABC will change their minds, or that some other network picks it up, because I really really really really like this show. The characters work extremely well together, they all have great chemistry. The show is funny and entertaining, and it deserves at least a second season, or at the very least, the ability to wrap the series up, with a movie or special episode, or something like that.

Yes I would have watched season 2. Fantastic cast that made watching the show very enjoyable. Disappointed once again with the mouse for cancelling another great program.
I would definitely watch. I love this show. It is entertaining and beautiful. Network TV is the kiss of death for a lot of great shows. I hope they can find someone that appreciates all the effort.

Both my husband and myself are very sorry to see this series not get renewed. It seems that the stations cancel all of the good series and renew all the mindless reality tv garbage or add more of the same. This show had humor as well as suspense and we liked the actors. We are not the only people we know who were upset over this cancellation. Unfortunately not enough people knew about it until toward the end.
