A spy drama with a screwball comedy bent, Whiskey Cavalier stars Scott Foley, Lauren Cohan, Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins. The series centers on FBI Agent Will Chase (Foley), codename: “Whiskey Cavalier” and CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Cohan), codename: “Fiery Tribune.” Although they start off as rivals, they’re soon assigned to a joint-agency task force to root out corruption and crime and save the world.
Airing on Wednesday nights, the first season of Whiskey Cavalier is averaging a 0.59 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.47 million viewers.
Out of the 21 scripted ABC TV shows of the 2018-19 season, Whiskey Cavalier is in 18th place in the demo and 13th place in total viewership.
The decision to renew or cancel Whiskey Cavalier reportedly came down to the wire. Word is that Warner Bros TV will be shopping season two to other outlets so there is some small hope that the series will survive.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this show. Was so disappointed it was cancelled. Hoping another station picks it up. Too many reality shows and comedy Shows that don’t interest me. Need something fresh, and for me this was it.

I truly truly love this show. Nowadays lots of series are basically the same type of show. But Whiskey Cavalier represented talented FBI agents with humor, passion and unity. Their job brings these different individuals to grow to love and understand each other. This show should of never been cancelled! Great actors and wonderful script. I’m tired of the same old plots where everyone gets kill off and nobody cares. Please please keep Whiskey Cavalier going. Love this show!
