What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Starz premium cable channel, The White Princess stars Jodie Comer as Princess Elizabeth of York and Jacob Collins-Levy as King Henry VII. The Starz cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan. Beginning in 1485, the series tells the end of the saga of England’s War of the Roses and follows the rise of the House of Tudor, as well as the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York to Henry Tudor.

Telly’s Take
Airing on Sunday nights, The White Princess TV show is drawing decent ratings for a Starz series. The cable channel has been calling it a “limited series” but it seems more like a mini-series. I suspect there will only be one season of eight episodes but, if the numbers are good enough, who knows? I’ll keep an eye on the ratings. I loved both the white queen and white princess I definitely think they should make a season two with an upcoming of the curse I think we should see Lizzy use here magic more like her mother
Me too!! The White Queen was phenomenal & the White Princess a perfect continuation of the story! But there really is so much more to tell, like you said to bring us to Henry VIII taking his throne. The ending leaves so much so be told still….
The White Princess is a terrific drama with fine acting, and great writing.
I’ve watched it religiously, as have 3 of my friends.

The truth of real history is far more fertile ground than 95% of other routine material on television.
Looking forward to Season 2 if the White Princess. It is one of the better shows on TV, and there is a lot more historical material to drive the plot for another season or two. Why isn’t it already renewed?

The White Princess was fantastic. I loved each episode. Hated when it ended on Sunday night. Please bring it back for a second season. Best program on TV.
If there is not going to be a season 2 then I am highly disappointed at their finale. It was a great show and it ended without closure in my opinion. I know that 1 of her sons died and she herself died in 1503 and they should have at least showed through that point.

Superior drama with an excellent cast headed by Jodie Comer’s top notch performance and that of the other actors who have made this series one of the best shows on television. Looking forward to a season 2 and hope that Starz will not disappoint the White Princess fan base by any thought of cancellation. There is so much poor programming on television in today’s market that shows like White Princess need to be preserved and continue airing.
