What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Starz premium cable channel, The White Princess stars Jodie Comer as Princess Elizabeth of York and Jacob Collins-Levy as King Henry VII. The Starz cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan. Beginning in 1485, the series tells the end of the saga of England’s War of the Roses and follows the rise of the House of Tudor, as well as the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York to Henry Tudor.

Telly’s Take
Airing on Sunday nights, The White Princess TV show is drawing decent ratings for a Starz series. The cable channel has been calling it a “limited series” but it seems more like a mini-series. I suspect there will only be one season of eight episodes but, if the numbers are good enough, who knows? I’ll keep an eye on the ratings. Hey so it says here I can’t use name calling or foul language so here it goes….I can’t believe starz would get rid of an actual real historical show over some other “stuff” they have…I’ve always like starz from when they aired Spartacus and to black sails and I recently got into the white queen and white princess cuz I like that they do historical shows like this….but to get rid of this show when there is more to tell is “not right” please don’t be …..and cancel this show…this show inspires women and also people to get into our… Read more »
The White Princes is one of two shows that I watch. I truly enjoyed it! I hope rhere is a second season.

Boooo! I have never looked more forward to Sunday nights! I absolutely loved this series and am thoroughly disappointed it will not be returning next season.

Loved this series!!! Jacob Collins Levy is an excellent actor!!! There is more to be told about the Tudors until Henry VIII becomes King. Please continue. I keep watching it over and over. Historical dramas are important.
