Lifetime has renewed Witches of East End for a second season. The cable channel has ordered 13 episodes for 2014.
Witches of East End stars Julia Ormond, Mädchen Amick, Jenna Dewan Tatum and Rachel Boston as a family of witches who live in a small seaside town. It’s based on the best-selling book of the same name by Melissa de la Cruz.
The first season of Witches wrapped earlier this month and averaged 1.99 million total viewers.
Lifetime recently cancelled The Client List after two seasons and Army Wives after seven. The cable channel previously renewed Devious Maids for a second season and picked up Drop Dead Diva for season six.

With the many awesome new sitcoms & intriguing new series that got cancelled after their 1st seasons (or in the middle of their 1st seasons) across a multitude of networks this year, I am delighted to see that Witches of East End was NOT among said misguided cancellations! I really enjoy this show and can’t wait to see the 2nd season! Being that I don’t have cable, however, I must wait 21 days after each episode’s original air date before I can see it on Hulu. I am so pleased to find that lifetime has given Eden a chance. It has a familiar flavor, like charmed.. Hopefully it will find its on flavor and grow.

Witches of East End is a great show
My dad and i watch this movie and love it. He would not watch the last episode until season 2 came out, cause he thought it would be canceled. So we are waiting patiently.
