TV show description:
This dramatic thriller series is based on the James Patterson novel of the same name. It revolves around a wave of violent animal attacks against humans that is sweeping the planet.
Jackson Oz (James Wolk) is a young, renegade American zoologist who spends his days running safaris in the wilds of Africa. He begins noticing the strange behavior of the animals and works to figure out the reason for them. As the assaults become more cunning, coordinated and ferocious, he is thrust into the race to unlock the mystery of the pandemic before there’s no place left for people to hide.
Other characters include Jamie Campbell (Kristen Connolly), Mitch Morgan (Billy Burke), Abraham Kenyatta (Nonso Anozie), Chloe Tousignant (Nora Arnezeder), and FBI Agent Ben Shafer (Geoff Stults).

Having read the novel and watched Season 1 of Zoo I thought the TV series did a fantastic job and was the writers eliminated the pet chimpanzee. The show in its own way is quite thought provoking in that if we didn’t have our technology to protect ourselves who would really be in a zoo. Us or the animals?
My husband and I really enjoyed the TV series the Zoo. We can’t wait for the next season. Please make it soon, we miss this TV program.
