I have watched American Idol since it started. This year with Nikki Minaj , I have been so disappointed . I love Nigel, he is a class act, However I have to suggest he must stay out of the gutter with Nikki Minaj. If she is on next year it will be the first time in twelve years that I will not watch it. She has disgraced the judges and the singers. Please keep the class act you have always maintained. Thanks

I had no idea that American Idiot was still in production. Perhaps I should dust off the old tube and give it a whirl. Oh, wait! I dumped my Comcast cable two years ago due to the mega levels of idiocy being broadcasted on network and cable TV. Too many books to read, too little time to read them……

If Season 13 includes Nicki Minaj, please do AI former viewers and cancel. Minaj has made many, many views tune out this season.

AI should die after this season since their biggest mistake to add Nikki Minaj. History will have no recollection of her music, and she adds nothing substantive to the commentary… “ooh ladybug I like your outfit who is the designer”…or “this is the first time I’ve been turned on xxx when you sing”… Who cares! With 4 judges, each of which has way too much to say compared to previous seasons, the show drags on. I like that the 4 judges balance male and female, and span across genres, but when only 1 seems to be getting her way with the top 2o finalist decisions, it’s sad that the singing talent show has been degraded to favor whomever is cute with marketability and can always be autotuned later. Keith Urban should be supporting country, but all he does is criticize the country artists, and seems to love the R&B singers. Randy will take the opposite side, and Mariah is just too agreeable (daaarling). None of the judges seem to be able to predict who will be out. They have some good prospects (Angie who is great at writing the music tho needs some help getting away from lyrical cliche) and Kree and Candice have great vocals and heart. Most others have good vocals, but too much technical acrobatics with excessive runs, and not enough from the heart. I didn’t even vote since top 20. The judges may be getting it wrong, but America seems to be getting it right as usual.

Season Finale is words I hate to hear when it comes to my favorite primetime shows. I mainly watch primetime and it’s hard to get all my shows recorded since I work in the evenings.

I started watching when the season began, but after a few episodes it was more drama and behind the scenes and talking instead of the auditions. The best part by the way. I don’t think I made it after the 3rd week. I’m definatly not going to waist the primetime slot on this show anymore. There are a lot more interesting shows on at the same time. It’s had a good run, maybe let it have a vacation for 5yrs and then bring it back, maybe. This season is the worst all around. No talent stands out to me either.

This is the worst season of AI EVER!! They need judges that will actually judge and not put through people based on their looks or humor. This is an embarrassment to AI and everything that Simon built.

When the show started out with Nikki Minaj threatening Mariah Carey it seemed more about them than the music.Nikki should have been fired off the show and because of her I was turned off to watching this year.I have watched every episode of all of the past seasons.Nikki took away the class of the show.
