Memphis Beat: TNT Show Returns for Season Two in June

Memphis Beat season twoJason Lee is coming back for a second season of Elvis songs and Memphis Beat. The series is returning on Tuesday, June 14th with a new round of 10 episodes.

The TNT drama, starring Lee, Alfre Woodard, and DJ Qualls, debuted last June to a 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.33 million. The ratings dropped after that but the first season ended up averaging a 0.8 rating in the demo and 3.86 million viewers.

Season one concluded on August 24th and it was renewed for a second season in early September.

    I Love Memphis Beat!!! Pls keep it on TNT!!! Its a refreshing change from the other T.V. shows and the MUSIC/Jason are GOOD!!!!

    i really enjoyed this show. i like jason lee. it is a different kind of cop show. has a sense of humor. i am happy to see it come back.

    I enjoyed this show because of its humor and compassion. Great storyline and wonderful music. Its hard to find shows so enjoyable.

    This is great news. Love this show and Dwight is the bomb. ALways look forward to the end music spot. The stories are great and believable. Great cast, great show.
