I’m so hurt that it haven’t been back on since April 1st. I rarely watch anything on t.v but made sure that I made tuesdays my day to only watch ABC Family for Twisted, The Fosters, Pretty Little Liars and Ravenswood. Please allow Twisted to continue considering it was just getting to the climax of this season. I am very disturbed by the cancellation.

LOL, this all I see when watching Twisted:

Vikram – We saw Vikram like what, three times and then boom, dead? WTF? And how many affairs did this guy have? Like, d@mn. He’s been sleeping with the whole town since high school! And what’s with the company? No other explanations? Is he a spy? A serial killer? A mafia member? Like really? Are they ever going to explain this?

Tara – Still don’t know why Tara died and I pray it’s not because of Charlie because that makes NO freaking sense and this show really doesn’t need any more reasons to make LESS sense. Because really, she died because of freaking Charlie and his crazy @ss?? What, does he have the cure to cancer or something? Why would they kill the person who raised him for Charlie? All this drama over Charlie? That’s what they want us to believe?? I can’t even.

Regina – Still don’t know why she was killed. Still don’t know why she had Tara’s necklace. Still don’t know why she was paid to keep quiet and still don’t know how she knew Vikram. But uhh, none of that is important anymore! So, moving along…

Jake and Whitney – Really?? MORE bad people!? How many people in that town are bad or part of that company?!!?!? Like seriously! Holy crap. But I mean, of course they did that to their characters. We all know the show doesn’t want Lacey with any friends, lovers, family, good reputation or anything really. And we all know Danny really needs one more frickin thing to screw up his life by taking away the only “good” male role model for him that he’s had recently.

Tess – For the love of Frickin peace. WHY did they keep showing her AND give her a mini plot? Ahh, that’s right, to keep Jo’s family relevant and continue joining the Desai and Masterson family together. And this whole baby mess?? First it’s a girl she had at a farmhouse upstate, and now it’s a boy because Vikram lied to her but she didn’t want to know the sex of the baby but somehow found out the “false” sex of the baby that she was hiding from everyone and that she didn’t want to see? But if she didn’t want to know the sex of the baby, what? Did Vikram just ignore her wishes and blurt it out? I mean, what the h3ll?? You mean to tell me she didn’t know what came out of her yahoo and she just believed Vikram and called it a day??? She just handed the baby over to him like it was nothing and watched him leave? And why was he there with her again? NO ONE knew (except Vikram) that Tara was raising Charlie? No one noticed her dipping out of the house to go places or any signs of a child? How could she raise a child without anyone noticing? She couldn’t have left the child alone when she left to go to the Desai’s, so, who else was looking after Charlie? See? This nonsense right here.

Karen – Were they EVER going to give her more of a plot and story-line? Why didn’t she already have all of that? She’s the mother of the MAIN CHARACTER!!!! Did they really make Vikram the point of her whole life and existence? Oh, you know. I’m just the mother who keeps being played by all of the men in my life, who happens to have $10 million now.” Is that her life?? Really? And I would’ve believed Charlie as Karen’s son more than Tess. Charlie’s story-line would’ve worked WAYYYYY better with Danny/Karen than the incest story-line with Jo/Tess! And it definitely would’ve made more sense.

Kyle – Does this man stay at his job? Is that all he does? Did he not have any connection with Vikram? I mean, everyone else apparently did since high school . I mean there’s nothing else to his story-line?

Lacey – Her dad coming out…oh, wait that’s it. Ok, her mom…who hasn’t been seen ever again. Alright, her sister…who’s never been seen. Ok, really this time. Her friends……oh, yeah they abandoned her………..Wait, ok, ……………………………..That sex tape!!!!!……….which wasn’t discussed ever again and made her lose her popularity status. Oh, ohh!!!! But that lesbian kiss she had with Whitney though………with the enemy who is no longer her friend………………………………….BUT, remember she was with Danny, her ex who has been crushing on her and vice versa since childhood who left her in a matter of days for his other bestfriend who he thought of as a sister………………………… ………… Lacey, she………!t. Well, at least she’s pretty and has a wonderful personality, cause that’s it with her character…

Danny – The main character that went to juvie for five years for a murder he didn’t commit that was actually done by his own father. Currently he’s on break from solving that mystery and other secrets involving his messed up life/family at the moment to make Jo his priority. Obsessively, he must protect her from who knows what and make her “the one” right after telling Lacey he loves her. As soon as Danny gets back to the main storyline, we will let you know. Thank you.

Jo – *Error! Sorry! Talking about Jo requires multiple posts and will probably take days to complete. You do not have enough space to complete this action. Your session will now.*

Need a season two to find out but uhh, things clearly need to be fixed and explained.

Fact: The failing of this show had nothing to do with bad promotion. Clearly, everyone knew about it. If you didn’t know about the show by now, you weren’t paying attention or you just didn’t care enough to watch it. There was plenty of promotions and advertisements. If you knew about and/or had time to watch Pretty Little Liars, Fosters, Switched at Birth or anything else during those times, your @ss is lying about not knowing about Twisted. This sh!t was everywhere.

Fact: Putting this show in a different time slot is not going to save it. The JoShow: Danny and Jo’s love story – will still suck, still bring down the ratings and still keep Lacey fans away. Time to change some sh!t. Somethings not working here and if you think putting a low rated show on a random @ss Thursday is going to help, you are clearly delusional…..

Fact: Ratings shouldn’t “marinate” over time to get better. If your show has to “brew and cook” to get better, your plan for the show is whack. Ratings should’ve been higher than they were for this show in the second part. I think it has something to do with the writing… Just saying.

Fact: The show failed because of bad writing. The second half of the show was piss poor horrible. This is what happens when you switch good writers who had great ideas and the perfect concept from the get-go, with bad writers who are shipping people who shouldn’t be together and just throwing sh!t together and hoping for the best…for the Jo fans.

Fact: You Jo shippers ruined the show by promoting the JoShow and #JoIsTheOne bullsh!t and pushing all the Lacey fans away to not watch anymore. You Lacey shippers ruined the show by not watching anymore and bringing the ratings down.

Fact: Lacey & Danny = High/er/est ratings. (Viewer Rating = 1.624)
Jo & Danny = Low/er/est ratings (Viewer Rating = 0.726)
First half good. Second half bad. Why the f#ck are we promoting Jo again??! If something doesn’t work, STOP USING IT!

Fact: When the f$ck did this show become about shipping?!? It needs to be about Danny. This is a d@mn murder/mystery show. Go back to it.

Fact: As noble as this petition that’s going around is, it’s not going to help. If most of the fans are Lacey fans and no one is trying to rectify the situation or give them any sign that the show will be better next season, none of this is going to work out. There are 1. 624 known fans that watched, and 979, 909 on Facebook and 111, 089 on Twitter and I don’t know about other websites, but only 2, 500 something people have signed so far? Ya’ll better hustle hard or start kissing some Lacey fans @sses during these next few months, cause at this rate, ya’ll are doomed.

Fact: Stop saying this second half of the season or the last few episodes were the best. No, it f%cking wasn’t. Look at the ratings. They weren’t surprising, shocking, exciting, new, grand, great, awesome, wonderful, or worthwhile. It had nothing to do with dvd/online/store sales or people not watching on Tuesdays. It f&cking sucked and it was a disaster. No one wanted to watch Jo and Danny’s fingertip – ET moment or their grand 5 second hugging moment. This second half was a f#cking train wreck. So, if there’s a next season, lets all get our minds straight and promote real sh!t that works and doesn’t cause low ratings. Lets try that!

FEDUP April 14, 2014 at 9:37 am

Exactly! Ratings down equates bad writing and bad story telling. No matter how may save this show campaigns go around, unless the writing changes and those the new show runner is fired, this show is doomed to fail. Perhaps a petition to fire Chuck Pratt Jr. would have served a better purpose.

Wendy April 14, 2014 at 3:25 pm

I agree with this post. The ridiculous shipping war ruined this show (among the awful writing in general). But you know what, they’ll never understand that. They’re still on that Facebook page celebrating that Jo/Danny “finally” happened. They don’t get that it’s one of the main things that sunk this already failing show. You can give them as much logic as possible, back up everything with proper reasoning, explain why the writing’s awful and people stopped watching because of that (and not because of who’s dating who)… and they’ll still throw insults at all the Lacey fans who, according to them, weren’t “real” fans.

2Much4Me April 12, 2014 at 8:43 pm

Lol, I don’t think it should be cancelled. I just think it needs to be fixed. Season 1, part 1 was different and diverse, that’s what people were drawn to. It broke the cliche’s and stereotypes. THAT’S what people wanted. THAT’S what was advertised. For once, the caucasian girl is JUST the friend and not the complete lead of the show or the popular, utterly “beautiful” girl who gets everything or the nerd who gets the guy just because she wants him. Jo’s character was just fine as the cute little nerd. Now she just looks desperate to fit in and be with EVERYONE in anyway possible. She didn’t have to have the lead male. She could’ve been great with Rico. Instead they replaced one nerd, with another nerd (Andie) to fill in. What was the point? Jo was the perfect as she was: she was smart, pretty, different, innocent and then it went all down hill and the “switch” wasn’t needed. They should’ve just kept Jo as the nerd then. Why find another one? And the popular girls were actually a bunch of minorities (with Phoebe being the exception) this time and it was different? You know how awesome that was? It was new from what people are used to seeing or know of. It was a different look on things and a different reality that people don’t talk about often. So, although I wouldn’t have said it like SuperFan or TGIF, I have to agree with them. The show was much better off in part one. Episodes with Danny and Lacey in the first half were better. The ratings clearly show that and I think EVERYONE needs to own up to that. If your storyline doesn’t work, you shouldn’t be promoting it. If you’re shipping a “couple” that’s not popular, or agreed upon by the majority of the viewers, I’m sorry, but you need to stop forcing it, especially if your “couple” is the one causing so much problems and issues and putting a whole show on possible cancellation. I’m sorry, it’s just ridiculous. It’s ok to ship a couple you like, but sometimes you need to keep those thoughts to yourself. Meant to be and THINK should be, are two different things and now that’s what this show has come down to to save it. I can’t even look on the Facebook page because it’s so biased and full of Jo fans crowding up the page and blaming Lacey fans and now all, or at least the majority, of the Lacey fans have left. All I see is: #JoIsTheOne or “That moment when Danny told Jo she’s the one!” All of that, is not helping the show at all and I don’t know who the administrators of that page are, or Twitter, or maybe it’s ABC who tell them to do it, I don’t know, but they are just as biased for Jo. Even those who are trying to save the show are Jo fans and they aren’t helping either by not truly being neutral. Why would Lacey fans want to see that or deal with that? I don’t blame them for not watching or complaining or not wanting to participate or get involved anymore. Who wants to watch a show that doesn’t work anymore since it was just fine previously or has the “possibility” of getting better if we give it a chance? If Jo fans weren’t so caught up in their fantasy ship, we wouldn’t be here. I mean, if you’re going to make it the “Jo Show”, do it completely and just let Lacey’s character go. We’ll find a better show for Kylie Bunbury to star in. Just let the show be about Jo and Danny and call it a day and work it from there. That’s what Jo fans want, right? So, then do it. Don’t tease and mess around. It just wasn’t worth downgrading Lacey’s character into a side character the equivalent of Archie. I mean, come on. Rico’s character with Andie, have had more show time and everyone thinks that’s ok? Jo fans are just sitting there like, “Oh, well. Lacey’s character wasn’t that important. More for Jo!” Even Danny’s screen time has been reduced and this show is about him! You all (Jo fans) are shoving Jo’s character down everyone’s throat saying Lacey shouldn’t be shown or needs to die or other hateful things and you think everyone (else) was just going to accept it and move on? That’s not realistic. If you think that’s ok, YOU are the problem. YOU are the reason this show is failing. This is why the show is possibly cancelling and it’s a shame. Seriously? With these petitions and donations and everything, what are you really saving? Because there’s not much to save if it’s only going to be about Jo and Danny. If they have a second season, something is going to have to be done about Lacey’s character. They’re going to have to make that whole season or half at least, about her or something. It has to even out somehow and make it back to the storyline of three character leads again and go back to making it about DANNY! This is his show! Some things just should’ve been left alone because other things just don’t work.

Awesome post! I thought I posted here already but my posts don’t seem to be sticking well with most websites lately, lol. And I agree. I enjoyed Jo’s character much better in 1A. I don’t know, she just seemed more refreshing in the first half. She was cuter and more bubbly and more relatable in the first half. I think they should bring back the old Jo that everyone liked, including the Lacey fans.

And right?? Her and Rico would’ve been so awesome together. Can you imagine those two trying to figure out the mystery of Danny’s past together? I think that would’ve been great. And I also enjoyed how fresh and new the show was. The show was diverse and trying new things and it was really good to see. And I have to admit, I enjoyed seeing Lacey with Archie. The big, attractive, white football player dating the hot, popular black girl? What?!!?! lol, as someone in an interracial relationship, it was really good to see and watch the show promote this by breaking the stereotype that all white football/sport players only date blonde/white girls/sport players and the same with black/minority players dating their own ethnic group. Although the cliche of two popular people dating was still there, it was a big leap from the norm. But then Archie’s personality started to show, and then I became team Danny, lol. But then Sarita, the Hispanic girl, showed up and she was on of the lead popular girls? Not a blonde/white girl?? Get out of here! I was hooked. I think they really need to continue down that path or should I say, go back to that path. Go back to what worked and drew viewers in in the first place.

And again, I agree. The producers and writers of this show are playing around and throwing random sh*t together and hoping for the best. It’s like they went on that ridiculous JoShow Facebook page for material for the second part of the show because they ran out of ideas and then what do you know?! The Jo Show season half! And don’t even get me started on the rest of this random @ss JoShow half…again. It just all seems too random and nothing connects or seems consistent. It just seems so thrown together just to make the emphasis that Jo and Danny and their families should be together – for no other reason other than Vikram, Tess and Karen. And Lacey and the other characters are just there to be little pauses and breaks in the episodes so it won’t be too “serious”.

Lacey’s character WAS played. I don’t know what goes on in those meeting/writing rooms, but someone is not making the right decisions. I also wish for it to go back to the Danny show. This is about him, his past and his family and should occasionally be about Lacey and Jo. They are putting WAY too much emphasis on the relationships, not emphasis on Lacey, WAY too much emphasis on Jo and NOT enough emphasis on Danny. I think the writers really need to sit down, read the comments, letters, emails, tweets, etc and really think about where and how the show should proceed if they get approved for a second season. If something didn’t work, time to change it. Simple as that.

Jessica April 12, 2014 at 8:40 pm

Definitely renew it!!

Alyssa Crane April 12, 2014 at 1:34 am

This show should be cancelled immediately. There is zero chemistry between Danny and No. Season one was way better with depth and diversity. Now it’s just this pale face raggedy Ann aka Jo they made over with shampoo and lipstick. She should be a lesbian with her itchy character. Everything that made this show interesting was destroyed by horrific writing. No suspense left. Just a dumb lack of romance plot.
