The alphabet network has released details about some of their special programming for the February sweeps. Highlights include episodes of The Bachelor, Castle, Grey’s Anatomy, Happy Endings, Last Man Standing, Malibu Country, The Middle, Modern Family, Nashville, The Neighbors, Once Upon a Time, Revenge, Scandal, Shark Tank, and Suburgatory.
In addition, we’ll see the series debut of Zero Hour, the return of Body of Proof, and the annual Academy Awards ceremony.

The ABC Television Network announces highlights of its upcoming February sweeps programming, including the premiere of the highly anticipated new drama series “Zero Hour,” the season premiere of returning drama “Body of Proof,” a special two-hour episode of “The Bachelor” on February 5, Valentine’s Day-themed episodes and The Oscars(R), hosted by Seth MacFarlane.

“JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE” – Jimmy Kimmel kicks off his February sweeps with Jennifer Lawrence (“Silver Linings Playbook,” “Hunger Games”), Melissa McCarthy (“Identity Thief”), Bradley Cooper (“Serena”), Katie Couric (“Katie”), Ewan McGregor, Nigella Lawson (“The Taste”), Julianne Hough (“Safe Haven”), Chef Bobby Flay, James Franco, Anthony Edwards (“Zero Hour”), Michael Strahan (“Live with Kelly and Michael”), Kelly Ripa (“Live with Kelly and Michael”) and Duck Dynasty. In addition, for the eighth consecutive year, ABC presents “Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Oscars,” on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 24. Live from the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, CA, a special broadcast of the late-night talk show hosted by Kimmel airs following the Oscars telecast and late local news. Previous “Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Oscars” celebrations have welcomed Hollywood’s biggest movie stars, such as Tom Hanks, Oprah Winfrey, Ben Affleck and Tom Cruise, and this year will be no exception. In addition the special will feature a signature “JKL” comedy piece. February also brings musical performances by Tegan and Sara, Emeli Sande, Gary Clark Jr., Ellie Goulding, Tim McGraw, Josh Groban, Morrissey, Gold Fields, Dido and many more. “Jimmy Kimmel Live” airs MONDAY-FRIDAY (11:35 p.m. – 12:37 a.m., ET).
“THE CHEW” – “The Chew” is your food and entertainment headquarters for all of February sweeps’ biggest events, from Super Bowl and Mardi Gras to Valentine’s Day and Oscar night. Beginning Wednesday, January 30, superstar chocolatier Jacques Torres teams with host Daphne Oz to create a decadent and affordable chocolate coconut napoleon; on Thursday, January 31, Callie Thorne (“Necessary Roughness”) makes her “Chew” debut; on Friday, February 1, the hosts show how to throw a Super Bowl party for just $50; on Tuesday, February 5, Martha Stewart appears for her book, Meatless; on Wednesday, February 6, Jewel returns to the show to talk about her greatest hits album; on Thursday, February 7, actress Yvette Nicole Brown (“Community”) guests, and on Friday, February 8, Bobby Deen shares his book, From Mama’s Table to Mine. “THE VIEW” – The celebration of “The Year of the Viewer” continues on “The View” as the co-hosts welcome first-time guest Seth McFarlane (“Family Guy,” “Ted”), host of ABC’s broadcast of the “The Oscars(R).” Viewers have the opportunity to ask McFarlane questions submitted to the official Twitter of “The View” (@theviewtv #asktheview). McFarlane has also been nominated for an Oscar� for Best Original Song as a co-writer of the theme song to his film, “Ted.” “How Funny Are You” will return, as educators, moonlighting as standup comics, vie for the title of America’s funniest teacher when they perform a routine live on the show. Mark Cuban co-hosts a one-hour “Shark Tank”-themed show with fellow “sharks” Lori Greiner and Daymond John as featured guests. “The View” hosts Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck gear up for Super Bowl Sunday when paired with their spouses, Lamar “Sal” Sally and ESPN analyst Tim Hasselbeck, who’ll also serve as the show’s “Guy Day Friday” host. The co-hosts and audience will participate in National Wear Red Day(R) to help raise awareness for the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” movement. Friend of the show Mario Cantone will provide his comedic wit when he predicts the Oscars. There are also fresh installments of “Is It Just Me?,” as Whoopi leads another informal yet hilarious Q&A with the studio audience; “Reality Show Roundup,” featuring weekly dish on television’s most popular reality shows and stars; and the debut of a new segment, “Joy of Therapy,” as host and comedienne Joy Behar tries to tackle relationship troubles. “GREY’S ANATOMY” – “Bad Blood” — As Derek and April work around the clock to find a solution for the hospital, Cristina struggles to respect the wishes of a family whose son is dying. Meanwhile, Arizona empathizes with a teenager who faces problems similar to her own, on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, JANUARY 31 (9:00-10:02 p.m., ET).
“SCANDAL” – “Truth or Consequences” — After discovering the truth about the rigged White House election, the “Gladiators in Suits” realize that a quickly unraveling Olivia may not always wear the white hat. Meanwhile, Mellie is forced to take extreme measures to try and reel Fitz in, on “Scandal,” THURSDAY, JANUARY 31 (10:02-11:00 p.m., ET).
“LAST MAN STANDING” – “Mike’s Pole” — When Mike hangs his prized U.S. flag in the yard, 14-year-old Eve is inspired by her father’s patriotism and announces she wants to join the Junior ROTC, which concerns Vanessa. Later on, a chance meeting at the VFW with a female armory gunner has an impact on Eve, on “Last Man Standing,” FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1 (8:00-8:31 p.m., ET).
“MALIBU COUNTRY” – “Based on a True Story” – Upon learning that Cash is having difficulty writing a one-act play for an English project, Reba tells him to look to his own life and write what he knows. But Reba’s advice comes back to haunt her when Cash writes a play that contains a lot of similarities to Reba and Bobby’s marital woes. Meanwhile, Lillie Mae decides to embrace her artistic self when Geoffrey gets her into his improv class, on “Malibu Country,” FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1 (8:31-9:00 p.m., ET).
“SHARK TANK” – “Episode 413” — A self-proclaimed “granola” couple from Boulder, CO, hope the Sharks will run with their sandals for barefoot runners; and a charming rabbi from St. Paul, MN, has the sharks listening to his business idea for a power-free magnetic sound enhancer for the iPad. A Miami, FL homemaker gets emotional when she tries to convince the Sharks to invest in her made-in-America multi-purpose bib; and a traveling salesman and father of seven from Hollywood, CA, pitches his website to help create personalized soundtracks for children. In a follow up segment, Jim Tselikis and Sabin Lomac give an update on “Cousins Lobster,” their LA-based fresh Maine lobster food roll truck company which Barbara invested in during Season 4, on “Shark Tank,” FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET).
“THE BACHELOR” – “Episode 1705” – A two-night “Bachelor” special event begins with Sean whisking the 11 remaining bachelorettes away to picturesque Whitefish, Montana, to explore his romantic connections But two nervous women face the dramatic two-on-one date where one of them will be sent home immediately. The Bachelor attempts to take one relationship to new heights when he and one lucky woman take an astounding helicopter ride over the gorgeous mountains of Montana’s Glacier National Park, and later are treated to a special concert by country music star Sarah Darling. Eight women are split into teams to compete against one another in a Montana relay race, including milking a goat, with the winning team getting to spend more time with Sean. And one controversial bachelorette continues to cause a firestorm in the house, leaving Sean to worry if he ever will find his wife here, on “The Bachelor,” MONDAY, FEBRUARY 4 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET). “CASTLE” – “Recoil” — While investigating the murder of a young woman, Castle and Beckett find evidence that links her death to Senator William H. Bracken (guest star Jack Coleman returns), the man responsible for Beckett’s mother’s murder. Determined to finally bring Bracken to justice, Beckett soon realizes that things are far more complicated than they seem, on “Castle,” MONDAY, FEBRUARY 4 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET).
“THE TASTE” – “Comfort Food” – The competition gets underway as Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson, Ludovic Lefebvre and Brian Malarkey roll up their sleeves with their teams of four cooks to help create the best tasting “comfort food” dishes. Things really heat up when the mentors now have to judge all 16 contestants in blind taste tests and eliminate two from the competition, on “The Taste,” TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 5 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET).
“THE BACHELOR” – “Episode 1706” – The two-night “Bachelor” special event concludes as Sean continues his journey around the world to find love, taking the nine remaining bachelorettes to the magnificent Canadian Rockies. One lucky bachelorette gets the first one-on-one date in Canada, including a ride in a monster snow truck on the glacier at Jasper National Park, followed by a fairy tale dinner in a magnificent ice castle. On the group date, Sean implores the seven women to strip down to their bathing suits and take a polar bear plunge in icy cold Lake Louise, but there are a few stubborn women who cause problems. The evening ends with Sean supplying an unexpected surprise. Another bachelorette receives a terrifying individual date when the couple needs to rappel 400 feet down a cliff in Banff National Park. Despite a raging snowstorm, the women scramble to advance their connection with Sean. Nerves are at an all-time high, and Sean’s feelings are growing for all of the women, but six will remain at the end of the night, on “The Bachelor,” TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 5 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET). “THE MIDDLE” – “The Smile” — As other kids begin receiving college acceptance letters and Axl still hasn’t, Frankie and Mike begin to worry that their son’s chances for a sports scholarship have passed him by. Meanwhile Sue is determined to prove that smiling is contagious as a hypothesis for a school science project, and a relentless Brick begins pestering his parents for an iPad, on “The Middle,” WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 6 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET).
“THE NEIGHBORS” – “Space Invaders” — Debbie’s relationship advice to Reggie Jackson about nerdy new girlfriend Giselle (guest star Lora Plattner) backfires badly, making things even more difficult for Jackie and Larry, who are having a hard time dealing with the fact that Reggie even has a love life. Meanwhile Amber resists Debbie’s attempts to talk about her new boyfriend, handsome but dim jock Jeremy (guest star Grant Harvey), on “The Neighbors,” WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 6 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET).
“MODERN FAMILY” – “A Slight at the Opera” – Cameron is putting on the school production of “Phantom of the Opera,” but when their star falls ill, Manny pulls all the stops to land the lead — even if that means going against Luke. Meanwhile, Jay teaches Phil to golf and they wind up in a golf-off with Pepper and Mitch; Gloria takes Alex along on errands, which include a visit to a psychic; and Claire’s adventures in babysitting Joe and Lily become a comedy of errors, on “Modern Family,” WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 6 (9:00-9:31 p.m., ET). “SUBURGATORY” – “Body Talk” — When Dallas realizes a portion of her property is located in East Chatswin, her life is thrown into a tailspin after she’s kicked out of the country club and Dalia is forced to attend East Chatswin High. Meanwhile, Tessa becomes a producer of the Chatswin High TV show, “Teen Talk,” but struggles with her new role when Ryan becomes the host of the show, on “Suburgatory,” WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 6 (9:31-10:00 p.m., ET).
“NASHVILLE” – “I’ve Been Down That Road Before” — Rayna begins to settle into the tour when she discovers that Deacon has joined Juliette’s band on the road, and she can’t help but think that maybe the time has come to make some hard decisions. But will a heart to heart with Deacon help ease the sting of the revelation? Meanwhile Juliette is tired of her bubble gum pop success and is interested in exposing who she really is, though her team is convinced that will damage her commercial success. “SCANDAL” – “Nobody Likes Babies” — As David uncovers the truth about the Cytron case, things come to a head for Olivia, Cyrus, Mellie, Hollis and Verna. Backed into a corner, the five conspirators go to extremes and, in some cases, unconscionable lengths to protect themselves and/or the ones they love, on ABC’s “Scandal,” THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 7 (10:02-11:00 p.m., ET).
“LAST MAN STANDING” – “Quarterback Boyfriend” — Mike is so impressed with Greg, Mandy’s new boyfriend and the high school star quarterback, he offers him a job at the Outdoor Man under Kyle’s supervision. But when Mandy realizes Kyle is covering for him on the job, she takes a second look at both Kyle and Greg. “MALIBU COUNTRY” – “Adventures in Babysitting” – In order to keep her from losing her deal with the record label, Reba agrees to collaborate with superstar bad girl singer Shauna, who demands to move into Reba’s home for awhile in order to get to know her better. But her bad habits start to rub off on the kids when she asks Cash to buy her some alcohol and encourages June to stop being so dependable. Meanwhile, Lillie Mae begins to think that Reba doesn’t miss her when she moves into Kim’s house for a few days after agreeing to housesit for her, on “Malibu Country,” FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 8 (8:31-9:00 p.m., ET).
“SHARK TANK” – “Episode 415” — The successful entrepreneur and creator of the CitiKitty cat toilet training system (Rebecca Rescate from Florence, NJ) returns with a new business idea combining the comfort of a pillow with a favorite piece of clothing. Also, two men from Austin, TX are willing to give the Sharks a 100% stake in their hand-held cooler business; a woman from North Hollywood, CA believes the Sharks will make a lot of green with her environmentally friendly dry cleaning bag; and two recent college graduates and baseball players from San Francisco, CA hope the Sharks bite on their idea for an alternative to chewing tobacco made from coffee grounds. From Season 1, entrepreneur Tiffany Krummins, creator of Ava the Elephant medicine dispenser, gives an update on her latest product, a thermometer sticker for children, on “Shark Tank,” FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 8 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET).
“BE MY VALENTINE, CHARLIE BROWN” & “A CHARLIE BROWN VALENTINE” – “Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown,” a “PEANUTS” special produced and animated by the same team that gave us the now classic holiday specials and taken directly from the late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz’s famed comic strip, will air with the classic “A Charlie Brown Valentine” (OAD: 2/14/02), SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 9 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET). In “Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown,” hearts are fluttering on Valentine’s Day at Birchwood School, and Linus has brought a huge box of candy for his homeroom teacher. Thinking that the candy is for her, Sally reciprocates with a homemade card for Linus. Lucy meanwhile, demands some affection from Schroeder, and Charlie Brown waits for his cards in the mail… and waits… and waits…. The special stars Duncan Watson (Charlie Brown), Stephen Shea (Linus), Melanie Kohn (Lucy), Greg Felton (Schroeder), Lynn Mortensen (Sally) and Linda Ercoli (Violet). In “A Charlie Brown Valentine,” Charlie Brown finally works up the courage to call the little red-haired girl to ask her to the Valentine’s Day dance. But once again he ends up broken-hearted and empty-handed when he dials the wrong number and reaches Peppermint Patty instead. “AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS” — “Episode 2313” — This week’s highlights include videos of a determined teenager who repeatedly attempts a handspring with hilarious results, a package of cats and dogs making mischief together, a foolhardy doctor who tries to pop a wheelie in a wheelchair, and Tom playing “Head, Gut or Groin?,” on “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 10 (7:00-8:00 p.m., ET).
“ONCE UPON A TIME” – “Tiny” – Kidnapped and brought to Storybrooke by Cora, the Giant (Jorge Garcia) unleashes his vengeance on the town when a case of mistaken identity leads him to try and settle an old score with David; Mr. Gold, accompanied by Emma and Henry, attempts to depart Storybrooke – hoping to keep his memory intact when he crosses the town line — and heads to the airport in search of his son, Bae; and Greg (Ethan Embry) questions Belle as to what she saw on the night of his car accident. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was and against his brothers’ wishes, Anton, the Giant, climbs down the beanstalk and attempts to befriend some humans – whose intentions may not be so noble — on “Once Upon a Time,” SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 10 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET).
“REVENGE” – “Union” – Emotions run deep when Jack and Amanda’s wedding reminds Emily of what could have been. Meanwhile, things for Daniel get complicated at Grayson Global, and Conrad begins a new chapter, on “Revenge,” SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 10 (9:00-10:02 p.m., ET).
“THE BACHELOR” – “Episode1707” — The pressure mounts as the crucial hometown dates loom, but first Sean and the remaining six bachelorettes travel to the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Croix. One woman boldly decides to reveal a shocking fact about her past on a one-on-one date with Sean, even as she fears it might ruin their relationship. Another bachelorette goes toe-to-toe with the Bachelor about the tension surrounding them, and she pulls out all the stops by declaring her love for him. And still another woman makes a crucial decision not to tell him she is falling in love with him. Sean invites his sister to St. Croix to help him sort through his feelings, and once he does, he drops two bombshells, leaving four women who will take him home to meet their families, on “The Bachelor,” MONDAY, FEBRUARY 11 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET). “CASTLE” – “Reality Star Struck” – Castle & Beckett get an up-close-and-personal view of a “Real Housewives”-esque reality TV series, “The Wives of Wall Street,” when they investigate the murder of the show’s rising young star. Meanwhile, Castle’s attempt to give Beckett a Valentine’s Day gift goes horribly wrong, on “Castle,” MONDAY, FEBRUARY 11 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET). Gina Torres (“Suits,” “Firefly”), Gail O’Grady (“Drop Dead Diva,” “Desperate Housewives”), Lachlan Buchanan (“Pretty Little Liars”) and Heather Ann Davis (“The Lake”) guest star.
“THE TASTE” – “Daring Pairings” — Two have been sent home, and 14 competitors remain on this week’s episode of “The Taste.” In the team challenge, each team is given five unique ingredients from which to create the most delicious dish for mentors/judges Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson, Ludovic Lefebvre and Brian Malarkey. One contestant will be granted immunity for the “daring pairings” individual round of the competition, when the contestants must prepare a dish that pairs best with a selection of decadent wines to please the judges’ palates in a blind taste test. Which two cooks will be sent home this week? “The Taste” airs TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 12 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET).
“THE MIDDLE” – “Valentine’s Day IV” — As Valentine’s Day approaches, Axl takes Boss Co., with partners Sean and Darrin, to the next level by offering their services to help guys break up with their girlfriends. Meanwhile, Brick becomes upset with Frankie when he discovers that she has thrown out all of the school artwork he has made over the years; Sue is thrilled when ex-boyfriend Matt invites her to the school’s Valentine’s Day dance, and Mike accidentally sends a romantic text meant for Frankie to a co-worker at the quarry, on “The Middle,” WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET).
“THE NEIGHBORS” – “Mother Clubbers” — After Debbie fears she’s lost her looks and Jackie discovers that on Earth she’s considered a “10” (back home Larry Bird was the pretty one), they end up in Hell (literally), a hip new club, hoping to feel a little more like desirable women and a little less like moms, in this episode that airs as part of ABC’s Wednesday comedy Valentine’s Day salute. Meanwhile, Marty and a deflated Larry Bird look to Amber to help them makeover their drab appearances, on “The Neighbors,” WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET). Michael Bay appears as himself.
“MODERN FAMILY” – “Heart Brocken” — A fun Valentine’s Day romp between Phil and Claire’s alter egos, Clive Bixby and Juliana, takes an unexpected turn that lands Claire in the hospital and with a diagnosis that she doesn’t take lying down. Meanwhile, Gloria and Jay’s attempts to be romantic keep getting interrupted by the kids, which drives Gloria crazy, and Cam and Mitch host a wild Valentine’s Day Lonely Hearts Party that leaves them hung over the next morning, trying to piece together what happened and, more importantly, why Dylan is now living with them, on “Modern Family,” WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13 (9:00-9:31 p.m., ET).
“SUBURGATORY” – “Blowtox and Bowel Chips” – When Tessa convinces Ryan to attend an art house movie with her on Valentine’s Day, their reactions to the movie surprise her. Sheila’s mother, Gam Gam (Mary Kay Place), pays the Shays a visit, causing friction between Fred and Sheila. Her visit also spurs Sheila to try to get Malik back together with Lisa. Meanwhile, Dallas has a bad reaction to a cosmetic procedure, and George has to enjoy an 18-course meal from renowned Chef Julio (Michael Voltaggio) solo, on “Suburgatory,” WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13 (9:31-10:00 p.m., ET).
“NASHVILLE” – “There’ll Be No Teardrops Tonight” – Rayna finds comfort in the arms of an old friend after revealing to Daphne and Maddie her plans to divorce. Juliette is invigorated by the response to her new sound and takes steps to reinvent herself — against the guidance of her management. Things are looking up for Scarlett and Gunnar when Rayna makes an offer to sign them to her label. While their hard work begins to show signs of success, Avery struggles to find his old sound and is forced to consider an attractive offer, on “Nashville,” WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET). But when Fitz and Olivia are forced to be in the same room again, real sparks fly and things get heated. “SHARK TANK” – “Episode 416” – Three brothers from Boise, ID hope the Sharks can envision investing in their family business — one-of-a-kind eyewear made from sustainable wood; and a man from Madison, MS, enters into muddy waters when he asks the Sharks to invest in his camouflage clothing line designed for duck hunters. Also, sorority sisters from Dallas, TX hope the Sharks find a perfect fit for their premium denim line, and a pair of Southern Belles from Loganville, GA, try to charm the Sharks into investing in their high end bedding for little girls. “THE TASTE” – “The Art of the Sandwich” – Tensions in the kitchen build as Nigella’s team is down to two and 12 remain in the competition. With what would seemingly be a simple challenge to create the perfect sandwich, things become heated among judges/mentors Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson, Ludovic Lefebvre and Brian Malarkey and their teams. “BODY OF PROOF” – SEASON PREMIERE – “Abducted, Part 1” – Megan returns to work months after Peter’s death and is surprised by a man from her past — Tommy Sullivan (Mark Valley, “Fringe”), the new detective assigned to her case. Megan, along with Tommy and his rookie partner, Adam Schaeffer (Elyes Gabel, “Game of Thrones”), must stop a serial killer whose victims are young war veterans. “THE OSCARS(R)” – Seth MacFarlane hosts the outstanding film achievements of 2012 televised live by the ABC Television Network and in more than 225 countries worldwide on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 24 (8:30-11:30 p.m., ET). The Oscars will include multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter Adele performing the Oscar(R)-nominated theme song from the latest James Bond movie. This will be the first time she will have performed “Skyfall” anywhere live. The show will also feature a tribute to the James Bond movie franchise, which is celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year, and a special celebration of movie musicals of the last ten years. In addition, Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Norah Jones will perform the Oscar-nominated theme song from “Ted,” “Everybody Needs a Best Friend.”
