Will the mystery be solved in the first season of the Barkskins TV show on National Geographic? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Barkskins is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of Barkskins here.
A National Geographic historical fiction drama, Barkskins is based on the novel of the same name by Annie Proulx. The show stars David Thewlis, Marcia Gay Harden, Aneurin Barnard, James Bloor, Christian Cooke, David Wilmot, Thomas M. Wright, Tallulah Haddon, Kaniehtiio (Tiio) Horn, Lily Sullivan, and Zahn McClarnon. The series examines the mysterious massacre of settlers in the vast and unforgiving wilds of 1690s New France. This event threatens to throw the region into an all-out war. Likely suspects abound – the English, the Hudson’s Bay Company, and a band of Kanien’kehá:ka (Iroquois) possibly in league with the English looking to drive the French from the territory. But, who or what brought these settlers to such a tragic end?

Barkskin is a damn good show. We finally get into the characters and enjoying it every week. We’re shocked it ended so soon. I didn’t realize 8 shows ended it., thought it was 10. I hope it comes back for Season 2 ! Instead of a 9.51 rating, I’d give it a 15 !

The show depicts with gut wrenching realism the conflicts and the risks involved in settling into a “new” land that is the home territory of others who are indigenous and have every reason to despise and distrust the intruders. I really like the show. It depicts the inner conflicts that several of the main characters have, as well as their dreams and disappointments. Episodes end with super suspense drawing us ( viewers) into eagerly awaiting the next. And now the whole first season has ended with that same kind of suspense. Can somebody please who is super talented in the ways of the internet find a way that that this can be like a Twitter or YouTube or Facebook Sensation that people will come to know of this show and be able to make enough comments and ratings so that the network will pay attention and pick it back up
It would be a great shame if there weren’t a season two of Barkskins and we were left hanging like a lot of other networks constantly do to their viewers, please don’t follow in the footsteps of the other channel networks, Barkskins is a damned good show.
This show is SPECTACULAR!!! I have told all of my co-workers at the whole earth center of the show it is amazing I love the actors I love how well they do I love the Wardrobe I love the setting I love the sounds I love the story is compelling and amazing and I just sit there and re-watch every episode over and over because I love it so much there are so many more questions I have and I’m just one person and I’m not that great with online data entry but I took the time on my phone… Read more »

This show is so truly wonderful I love every single episode I can’t stop telling people about it I think they did a fantastic job with everything I don’t understand why it’s called a limited series and I can’t even fathom a reason why they wouldn’t make another season please it is the best show on National Geographic and in truth one of the best ones I’ve seen in the last 10 years on any channel
I cannot wait to find out what is to come it is such a tease the fact that he didn’t die and Sel put him on top of his made Doma which is amazing I wonder what beautiful things are going to happen between Sel and monsieur’s trepany. If the network is paying attention pay attention to what you’ve made the episode The Law of two you cannot make a season 1 and not a by the law and make a season 2 we need it we want it please!!!!!

I am one person and not the only person making comments I don’t know how often these comments are viewed if the network pays attention to them what to do or where a person may speak so that they start paying attention but there needs to be more seasons it is amazing I love all the actors I want them to come back the girls are interesting and beautiful and the scene is depicted correctly and it has humor and it’s just great
Please add a second season of Barkskins! Don’t leave us dangling with Trepagny awaking from up in the tree platform and everyone assuming he’s dead. Also, will Wobik be destroyed by the Iroquois?
I truly cannot speak highly enough of this show it’s just fantastic it’s so so wonderful and there were so many more questions I have is there something more going on in Mobic something that has you know something of a supernatural presence to be known season 2 please make it

What a wonderful show I am not a person to look into things and see how to post a comment but for this show I did take the time because it is so great but does anybody know how we can make a difference to make the network make a season 2

This show gives the American people a touch of a time from way back when and really you could take a day and watch this show and then want off of work for the next week to watch it again and again and again I can’t tell enough people about it please make more

Fantastic is what I called this show you always hear about a Siskel and neighbor well I don’t know who they are but speaking from a normal person’s perspective the show should be number one of the year Bravo makes amazing reality TV and they’re interesting and funny and do lovely things but this show is one of its own making and I hope that the network and its viewers will convince people to continue it

It is funny it says in these post instructions no personal attacks how can I attack anything in the show everything about it is so great I have nothing but more questions that I hope to be answered and season number two the only personal attack that I have is who made the decision that there is not yet being made a season number two it is fantastic and if there is not a season 2 to come of barkskins that is a tragedy the show is great
