Bo has some amazing abilities but unfortunately they didn’t help save her series. NBC has cancelled the Believe TV show after one season.
Believe revolves around a young girl who has special abilities and the adults who are trying to protect her. The cast includes Johnny Sequoyah, Jake McLaughlin, Delroy Lindo, Kyle MacLachlan, Jamie Chung, and Arian Moayed.
The series got off to a positive start, thanks to its premiere airing on a Monday night after NBC’s top-rated show, The Voice. Unfortunately only about 60% of that episode’s audience decided to tune in to watch the second episode six days later.
The ratings kept falling lower each week. This week’s installment of Believe drew just a 1.0 demo rating with 4.33 million viewers. Those numbers were just too low to justify ordering a second season.
On the positive side, it appears that NBC plans to order all of the remaining four episodes.
What do you think? Are you sorry that Believe hasn’t been renewed for a second season?
I truly BELIEVE this is one of the best shows on Sunday Nights and NBC is making a BAD DECISION to cancel this fun, exciting drama! The show offers a sense of believe in the characters that are believable and show be allow to continue to mature. If NBC were to allow the show’s writer to add more action to this drama, will be draw more viewers. The acting in this show is believable as is the show’s plot. Believe still has potential, unless JJ. ABRAM (sorry for the misspell) is too busy with Star Wars to care about this… Read more »
I meant to say, “The show offers a sense of Belief….”
This show was so great and left you waiting to the next episode with a lot of characters just building and making it worth while to watch one season only gosh give it a chance to build up followers and enjoy…we loved it bring it back…from fans in Australia.
I love this show all drama why do they cancel good shows and keep the dumb ones on
OMG NBC wake up!! Ask your audience what they want. Believe seems to be moving right along in it’s story. Geez wake up already.
Thanks for cancelling and leaving nothing but Crap out there on tv to watch, i pray to god they don’t replace with reality sh**.
Thank God for Hulu seeing how this is how i was able to watch it due my work schedule.
Typical antics for NBC. They cancelled Revolution and now I found out they also cancelled Believe. Good thing I recorded them all to DVD so I have it to watch. NBC sucks! I don’t even know why I let myself get invested in a show on NBC. Because even if it is a good show, they will cancel it anyway because it is not a money maker enough for them (those out to only make money). I’m just going to stop watching NBC all together. Sorry Ellen.
Im disappointed in NBC’s decision to cancel this series.
Oh no!!!! Please know that as a member of the younger side of the “Senior Generation” this is one of the most exciting TV shows I have gotten so involved it that leaves me with wondering what is the next plot. Give this show a chance. Even my daughter who lives in NY and works all hours makes sure to record it. We are devastated that you choose to cancel. How can you determine the ratings on one season with only 10 episodes? Please reconsider!!!!!!
The shows characters are just finally jelling, the plot has strengthened and it is just a shame to drop a series with no cusswords, no sex, just a cool amazing story. I am thankful that the series will be allowed to finish. I am about ready to write off NBC, they bring out neat shows and then the powers that be get in the way and screw up the show. Does anybody in power at the network know what they are doing?
I love this show & want it to come back!
Love this show. Should not be canceled.
I cannot “Believe” that this show is being canceled there is so much reality garbage on TV and this is just a good entertaining show without having to witness violence we were just starting Believe evening get togethers so come on! Give it another season
Terri,
I am with you!! I love this show. I never have a clue as to what is going to happen from one show to the next. Most TV shows are so predictable. Got to keep, pushing and perhaps minds will be changed. Fingers crossed.
What?! Not enough sex & violence for the network or viewers? I really liked this show & characters.
First show since the office that I loved on this network! UnBELIEVABLE, that nbc can’t try to put it in another time slot, to try to save it. What a shame!
WE BELIEVE IN BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BRING IT BACK!!!!!
Yes! Let’s keep our fingers crossed that enough people will comment in favor of the return of “Believe”!!
