Bo has some amazing abilities but unfortunately they didn’t help save her series. NBC has cancelled the Believe TV show after one season.
Believe revolves around a young girl who has special abilities and the adults who are trying to protect her. The cast includes Johnny Sequoyah, Jake McLaughlin, Delroy Lindo, Kyle MacLachlan, Jamie Chung, and Arian Moayed.
The series got off to a positive start, thanks to its premiere airing on a Monday night after NBC’s top-rated show, The Voice. Unfortunately only about 60% of that episode’s audience decided to tune in to watch the second episode six days later.
The ratings kept falling lower each week. This week’s installment of Believe drew just a 1.0 demo rating with 4.33 million viewers. Those numbers were just too low to justify ordering a second season.
On the positive side, it appears that NBC plans to order all of the remaining four episodes.
What do you think? Are you sorry that Believe hasn’t been renewed for a second season?
I really liked all the characters. The show was kind of family, but with a little gtit too.
I’m a sci-fi, horror guy but I liked it.
You should seriously think about bringing it back.
please reconsider and bring the show back I look forward to watching that every week and like the others have said its something you can actually watch with your family please consider bringing a back,, I believe;)
So sad!!! Was looking for season two!! You should try again. Most of us tape it and watch it when we get home. 🙂
Reall swell way to bust up a girl’s night!!! Hate that you guys took this show off tha air!!! Dumb move!! Put it back on please!!!!!!!
What a shame. I really liked that show. 4.3 Neilson viewers? I suspect there are a lot more viewing. I guess there was not enough sex, violence and race baiting for NBC. Bad decision. Was a great show and I was looking forward to watching the storyline unfold. Bring on another reality show, or another show about “murder”. They love those.
My impression is that networks are obsessed with finding shows to dominate the ratings line up, where advertising dollars are highest, to the exclusion of simply moving them to another time slot where these Nielsen ratings are in line, they just cancel the show. It’s about the add dollar, not the viewer. What are we to think when NBC cancels it’s entire Sunday line up, or Fox cancels 2 show last year that came in ranked 8 & 9 for add dollars, only to find themselves this year with only one show in the top 10… The more I learn… Read more »
My husband I really like watching believe. We love the show and pray that they bring it back. It is very touching
My wife and I really liked Believe and when we didn’t see any commercials for it’s next season we figured it got canceled. Too bad, we were looking forward to a positive show our whole family could watch.
I really was looking forward to the next season 🙁
Are you seriously trying to say that we 4.3million viewers are not enough?
That’s just greedy and your station should just lose a lot more viewers for
that opinion of us.
I think it should come back,I loved that show.
loved Believe –
one of the few shows that my daughter and I would plan on watching together
been hopelessly waiting on season 2 to start until I stumbled on this site..
boooooo that it was cancelled
Bring it back. We loved it and followed every episode. Please.
This system is broken by design, it cost a lot to make these shows (To much) and advertising rates are directly tied to the Nielson ratings which are highly inaccurate, advertisers have much leverage, while any good CEO must be mindful of the bottom line and market share, they still have many ways to keep these shows on the air. They also have many shows to choose from, but seems like they are overly obsessed with the Sunday line up that brings the big bucks. Believe pilot aired on Monday, when they moved it to Sunday, the ratings dropped with… Read more »

I loved that show… I am left with a sigh… I think they should bring it back.
