What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC action thriller, The Blacklist stars James Spader, Megan Boone, Diego Klattenhoff, Amir Arison, Mozhan Marnò, Hisham Tawfiq, and Harry Lennix. The crime drama centers on one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives, Raymond “Red” Reddington (Spader), who offers to help the authorities, if rookie agent Elizabeth Keen (Boone) partners with him. In season six, following revelations that Red is not who he claimed to be, Liz is determined to get to the truth, even while Red continues to build his empire and eliminate his rivals.
Season Six Ratings
The sixth season of The Blacklist averaged a 0.57 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.00 million total viewers. Compared to season five, that is down by 38% and 29%, respectively. Find out how The Blacklist stacks up against the other NBC TV shows.

Will NBC cancel or renew The Blacklist for season seven? The numbers are way down, yet again, so I feel like this show will end this year or next. This show’s fate has gotten harder to call over the years, and the cancellation of the spin-off didn’t help matters. If the network had a replacement in place, it might be easier to bid the original adieu. For now, I’ll keep a hungry eye on the Nielsens and update this page with breaking developments. The only reason the ratings are down is because the network keeps changing the nights.
No, ratings are down because the show has turned into a ****** soap opera based on retconned garbage that create a bunch of plotholes. Ratings were down way before they started dipping with the air time.

I pray they do not cancel a show that finally includes intelligence as well as entertainment. All of the actors are talented and there is a bond between them professionally.
To be on a Friday night when most people are out and about because it’s the beginning of the weekend, the show is still showing stability and is not merely getting by.

Exactly. Putting shows on Fridays is the death of a show. I arrange my schedule so I can watch Blacklist but others may not. Great show. Change the night and ratings will go up. This is a great show, great actors, intelligent and entertaining

I like this show but I don’t like the plot line right. Get Remington out of jail and move on with something else.
I love this show ! The acting and the cast are great ! I think the problem is that the network needs to realize that there are people outside the 18-49 (age) demographic who watch tv. This is a show that requires some intelligence and a loyal following! I believe The Blacklist has that following !

I love this show, and I’m 55. Just need to change nights, as I PVR it.
Problem is even if you watched it live you wouldn’t count as viewer as your out of 18-49 age group assuming you even have a box that counts viewers in the first place. The system they use to rate tv shows is the problem and its very outdated. System worked when you had to watch a tv show live or you missed it.

It is a great show, a very good storyline and Spader is one of the best actors in the scene. I hope we get another season.
I think the blacklist is a very good show. I hope continue with the series it’s refreshing and I love Spader’s ramblings while he commits a crime lol. If NCIS last that long then Blacklist can and should last as long.
Excellent series cannot get enough of BlackList. Bring on season 7 & more.
