Does the first season of the Bring the Funny TV show on NBC have you busting a gut? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Bring the Funny is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of the Bring the Funny season one episodes here. *Status update below.
An NBC comedy competition, Bring the Funny is hosted by comedian Amanda Seales, with Kenan Thompson, Chrissy Teigen, and Jeff Foxworthy serving as judges. The series features a wide variety of performers aiming for the funny bone. Those who hit the target and pass muster with the judges get a shot at winning a $250,000 prize package, as well as the chance to see their name in lights during the season finale. In that live episode, the viewing audience gets to vote for its favorite act.

*Status update: Bring the Funny has apparently been cancelled by NBC.
I love to laugh and love comedy. The stand up comics are a lot more funny than the skits. Most of the acts take too long to the punch line
ABSOLUTELY “LOOOO-VVVVEEEE THIS SHOW!!! PLEASE BRING THE FUNNY BACK!!!
Love the show! Trying to vote but not clear where to. I love the Chris and Paul show
I look forward to the summer comedy shows. Bring the Funny has been one of the best so please bring it back. It’s so much better than the typical “reality show” that I’m sick of. Consider giving Frangela their own show.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE Bring The Funny. Some of the acts are, obviously, better than the other. Overall, it is a great show that we need LOTS more of!!! The Season 1 contestants are setting the standard, and like all the competition shows, it will only get better with each season!! We all need more laughter in our lives. Please don’t cancel!!!
Bring the Funny is not so funny. I desperately wanted to love it but just cringe most of the time. The judges look like they are in pain most of the time trying to find something positive to say to many of the acts. There are a few people that have made me laugh out loud (twice). I do appreciate how difficult it is to get up there and perform and I admire their strength to do so. Humor is so subjective. Comedians have a really tough job. I would not anticipate the return of this show. I would cancel… Read more »
Yes we need some more bring the funny!
Renew don’t cancel
I ENJOY THE SHOW, WITH JEFF FOXWORTHY, AS ONE OF THE JUDGES, ITS GREAT.. AND WITH SOME OF THE NEW COMEDIANS, THAT ARE TRYING TO MAKE IT OUT IN THE WORLD, ITS ENJOYABLE TO WATCH… I SAY RENEW IT FOR ANOTHER SEASON…
I enjoy the show but cannot tolerate Christi T!
She seems so immature with all the social media stuff and she’s good friends with the Kardashians which I also can’t tolerate and don’t know how any of those people became the stars they did! I saw her co-host an awards show a few years ago & she was just awful! I also think she looks really weird so can’t imagine how she became a cover model. If they keep this show on the air for another season I hope they will replace her.
I think the show is very funny. Not every contestant is funny but there are always a couple that make me laugh. I hope the show is NOT cancelled. I like to laugh and this show does it for me.
Bring on the funny is not funny It is pure agony to watch. I watched 2 episodes and doubt I will watch again. I would rather work a 12 hours shift because at least I would get something out of it. Watching this tv show was a waste of time
Humor was flat and not very funny. I can not believe this show rated 8.99 out of 24 votes.
I gave it a one. Can you say manipulated ratings?
Surprised to see this show so highly rated as I simply did NOT find the humor displayed to be all that funny. Was seriously hoping for the kind of humor that would have had me laughing out loud – wasn’t there for me in the first show.
I’ll view at least one – perhaps two – more episodes to give it a good enough chance. Hope that my tickle bone will be played during those future times, if not it will be a firm thumbs down for me.
Totally agree with you. Not sure what NBC was trying to do, but most of the performers couldn’t do warm up for a C list comedian
Terrible show. Not funny.
I agree . it is terrible.
