NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

I really liked Chase, I can’t believe that the show been taken off when there so many
stupid shows on TV. All those reality shows are so stupid, I really think NBC should try running Chase again. I thought Chase was a really good. There not too many good shows on TV these days.
Replacing Chase with Minute to Win It? REALLY? I really liked Chase. It was as a good as Hawaii 5-O. Another reality show, just what we don’t need. I’m 56, and I have already a lifetime of reality. Maybe you should pick a night to air Chase, where there is minimal competition for the ratings?
I like the show. I like the idea of putting it on a weak Friday night and see what it can do there, please at least show the final 5 episodes and give it a real chance.

THIS IS THE BEST SHOW ON T.V. I THINK THAT NBC IS CRAZY IF THEY DONT MOVE IT BACK TO MONDAY NIGHT AND DO ALL EPISODES!!!! AT THE VERY LEAST THEY SHOULD DO A FINALE EPISODE.

I absolutely look forward to this show every week. Love IT!! I love all the characters. It’s a different kind of cop show, love Annie Frost, and can’t say enough about the show.
I agree with the other review, please NBC try again. Try Friday night, there is absolutley nothing on Fridays. So disappointed that it wasn’t on last week!
I really liked Chase. I found it enjoyable to watch and I’m going to miss it.
I will really miss this show. I too looked forward to it every week. I thought it was one of the better crime drama shows on TV today.

I really like Chase its not your average Cop show. Ok it’s probably not the strongest show on TV but it’s not that bad either. I think people didn’t get behind it cause there’s a woman who has the lead role and she’s a strong character and can kick ass. I would miss Chase and I think NBC should give it another chance. Put it on Friday night’s at 8. There’s absolutely nothing on Friday’s. The only show we watch in our house on Friday is the Defenders, other than that nothing else is on. I’m just sorry that suck-fest Hawaii 5-0 isnt on a hit list. Talk about cliche’d comic book crap- lead guy does EVERYTHING- he’s a commando, a SEAL, a spy, a cop, champion swimmer, disarms bombs, blah, blah, blah….
Wow, whenever some show is cancelled or faces the threat there’s a circle of clowns who call it “greatest show ever”, “best thing on tv”, etc. Guess what, not all these shows are great, most arent even good, and shouldnt have been on the air in the first place. You people that support this are the reason so much drek is on tv now. I’m all for dumping the reality shows but this isnt that much better. Crap should have been pulled sooner.
I love this show and looked forward to it every week! The acting was good, story line was fresh and exciting. What is wrong with NBC? No wonder they are at the bottom of the ratings. Minute to Win It? Really? I am sick to death of these stupid reality shows!! Somebody needs to retire and get some fresh minds at the wheel!!
