NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

In compairison to other shows this show is head and shoulders above. There is some real crap on these days that is popular but this show isnt one. So I really do not understand the low ratings, the stories are great, they have good character development, and they keep things moving in a entertaining way….Dont get this at all, such a great show, I’ll miss it if they decide not to bring it back.
Wednesday was a great TV night with Chase. It gave us something to look forward to, early dinner, clean up and relax to watch the show. The cast all went well together. Action packed, story line great. One bad season should not be a reason to dump it. Should give it another chance, maybe a different night.
I absolutely love the show. I can’t figure out what the reviews were talking about. I think once again Jerry Bruckheimer has a hit. He creates unbelievable shows. By the way, I also thought it was a giant mistake to take away “Without a Trace”. That show was unbelievable! They talk about ratings. I watch all these kinds of shows and never get calls about them!

I love this show. I was so disappointed when it wasn’t on last wednesday. I look forward to seeing this show every week _ it is my favorite and now I am so heartbroken that it is not on. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!
I really liked this show!!! The cast was great, especially Annie…just goes to show you people would rather watch stupid sitcoms and American Idol…shows that don’t require any thinking. I sure hope you will reconsider and bring it back

I am very disappointed that NBC took it off the air. My Wife & I were big fans of the show. I like the cast & the stories. Dear NBC, please sell the show for another station to pick it up? You seem to be too overwhelmed.
Looke forward to the show thought it was really a great show ,nbc just didnt give it a chance.who wants to watch another stupid game show ,it will surely fail.

I always loved this show. I can’t believe they r going to cancel it. I like a show that shows a women in a front role and one that she could probably kick every guys ass that she encounters. I love a strong women it gives me hope for all women out there….
