NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

Chase has been a very good show for a family to watch I would put it up with TV shows like the Sopranos,I look forward to wednesday night for that show Please bring it back I think it will make it because all my friends have been looking for it for last two weeks .

What the heck is wrong with NBC? They finally get a winner and they cancel it?! No wonder NBC is the butt of late night jokes. Dopes.
I loved “Chase” and so did many of my friends and relatives. Please at least show the episodes that have already been filmed.
I love this show. I liked it better when it was monday, it was the only show i watched. Wednesday is such a jam packed night with big shows. I have like 4 shows i watch on wednesday. move to a different night but dont cancel it. Its one of my favorite shows!
I was curious if Chase was cancelled or not. PLEASE don’t cancel this show. My whole family LOVES it and we look forward to watching it every week. At least show the last episodes please. SERIOUSLY why do all the GOOD SHOWS get cancelled and all we see more on tv is Game Shows and Reality TV!
I love Chase! If they can’t see fit to let it continue they need to at least air the last episodes. This is one of my favorite shows and replacing it with yet another reality/game show is horrible.
Chase is an awesome show. My husband and i have been very disappointed in your tv station until chase came out. We watch it faithfully every week and have been very disappointed the last few weeks that it hasn’t been on. Maybe you should get rid of some of the reality shows. There are shows on cbs that we have watched for years and we gave up watching them for chase.

Loved the show, but missed some episodes because of changing times. Very disappointed tonight and last week when I tuned in to find another dumb game show

We totally love Chase! and we dont get why it didnt catch on! Its so awesome! Annie Frost was our new tv hero and a total badass! It was so entertaining and it gave us something to look forward to watching during the week that wasnt corny or some reality show!! Please petition to bring Chase back and we will be on board!!
