NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

i think chase should be back on, it was a good show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I somewhat enjoyed the show. But the lead was a bit hard to swallow. Caught
in explosions, jumping out of 10 story buildings, running thru gunfire, and defeating
men in hand to hand combat who are obviously stronger and better fighters and doing
all of this in a pair of boots her father bought her years ago and with heals she has to keep taping and gluing? Show needs a bit of reality in it’s blood.
Please do not cancel this program. I doubt that I will begin watching any more programs on NBC. They cancel programs without warning! For me, the all-time worst was when they canceled “Las Vegas” at the end of a season (without telling anyone what they were doing). They left us with a cliff hanger, and I will never forgive them for that. Now, they go ahead and, apparently, are deciding to cancel one of the best new shows of this season. What a pathetic strategy!
I really enjoyed this show. The acting was superb and the chemistry between all theme was
magic.
I think that moving it around hurt it and it should be on Fridays or Saturdays where it is not up against so much competition.
Please air the remaining episodes and try it on one of these nights. DON’T CANCEL IT!!!!
I will actually miss the show as it has become one of the shows me and my sister love to sit down and watch together when we are both off the same nights from work. I like the cast and thought it had a great catch to itself.
I enjoyed Chase. At first it did not grab me but as time went on I began to like it. Maybe if you put it in another time slot it might work. You do it for other tv shows. I believe that it deserves another chance. There are many shows that have been on television that did not hit it right off the bat but as time went on people started watching it.
This is a huge mistake! Things don’t just happen over night. This is one of the best shows to come on the air in the last few years. Maybe the third times a charm! Give the show another shot!
I’m wondering if networks have figured out a way to count DVR groups!
So many people are working or doing or things that they can’t actually watch Live Tv. Bring chase back always good from beginning to end. Please nomore reality tv!! Just wanna spend my Saturdays catching up on all my tv series that I have DVR’d
I agree with all that is being said about Chase. I loved that show. Why does NBC always cancel shows before they even give them a chance, Please bring back Chase I love Annie Frost.
I really miss Chase, so please, please, please do not cancel it. Move it to a different night or time slot, but do no cancel the show without giving it a fair chance. The cast/actors are great, it’s action packed and targets real ongoing current crime issues. Take for instance the final two shows that aired, which dealt with the existing Mexican Drug Cartels. It’s amazing to me, that you would consider cancelling Chase only to replace it with a reality show like “Minute to Win It”. What gives? Chase was my favorite show of the season. I did see some weaknesses though. In life when a character is badly beaten they do not get to their feet and pursue the chase.A little more realism was needed in order to capture an audience. It needed a little win some, lose some. In other words better scripts were needed.
I think the show lead by Annie was doing great and watched it weekly, it will be missed. One hour of minute to win it is enough. Bring back Chase for it’s loyal viewers.

Chase was an action packed hour worth watching. Minute to win it has no redeeming value. It’s seems sad to me to see the American values have fallen this low . If the major networks can only offer game shows and reality TV, I guess we will have to watch reruns or other channels, maybe go back to reading. No wonder facebook is so popular, TV is not worth watching anymore, so could the failure be on your part? Lack of marketing, Chase was just as good as NCIS or Criminal Minds. I think Chase should be brrought back on air and bring it back on mondays cause its a really cool show, if NBC cancel it…im not going to watch anymore nbc’s show because the already cancel Undercovers witch was a great show!!!!!!!!!!:(
